Rough night.  I THINK I can let things go and I am pretty laid back.  But I get cursed out and yelled at for NO reason yesterday and it kept me up all night.

I'm not saying no reason to slant it my way, it was really NO reason (maybe in THEIR world).  My boss even said they client should apologize and we thought about quitting the job. 

BTW, this is the same client I was ranting about about a month ago that will blame everyone for everything.

Here's a glimps into my messed up mind (OCD?).

Remember Herbie the Love Bug?  I had issue with that as a kid (not the fact is was a living car).  But where was Herbie's soul?  I remember being a little kid and thinking, if you replaced a fender, still Herbie?  If you replaced a hood, still Herbie?  If you swapped engines, still Herbie?  New tires, Herbie?  I kept saying yes to all of it but then thought if you replace ALL of Herbie at the same time, then it's not Herbie.  But piece by piece?

I really struggled with this as a 6yr old...  Still think about it today (obviously).

See, I liked the concept of Christine.  Just a possessed devil car that could fix itself.  That made more "sense".

Garmin gave me a brand new (well, refurbished) Forerunner 305 for 80 bucks after my old one of over 5 years finally kicked the bucket.  It's slick!  Slightly better version of it too.

Some people poo poo on Garmin for various reasons, but they have been good to me!

Maybe that's just the think I need to get me outside - a "new" toy"

another random thought before I go to my meeting.

I'm addicted to headphones again.  ear buds, over ear, noise canceling, wireless, gaming.  I have been buying them all.  I'm sure the phase will pass and I will have a half dozen pair (to go with my 12-15 pairs of cheap ear buds) just laying around.

Just to clarify that I'm not completely wasting money, the wife gets a lot of free stuff when she does gigs for various conventions/clients.  She had to "model" some high end gaming headphones from SteelSeries and CES.  Worth over $150 and have a built in mic so I can talk smack to Cord when we game...
