Had a Naked run at the beach after work.

Ran 6 miles @ GA Pace. Intensity was not bad but definitely a bit short. (Really wanted to go farther)

Sorry

Naked Run = No Electronics and in this case, no shoes.

And yes, we are counting barefoot miles

I am off for the beach in a bit for some more naked miles.

Hmmm...  I've raced with no electronics.  I assume that means no watch as well.

I was wearing shoes.  Tough not to wear shoes for trail runs around here.

I got my mile in yesterday on the treadmill! =) Nothing extra today b/c my leg's a little sore.

Ryan, nice job, kid! Just don't overdo it etc. and uh...end up not running for oh...seven months. =)

Good job!!  Are you running the whole time or alternating running and walking?

Yesterday just walked. Leg hurt some already and was starting to get swollen. =( But the first day I did jog a little. =) How YOU doin?

Actually really well.  I'm alternating running and walking.  My first week was 1 minute of each and I've been adding a minute of running every week.  This week I'm up to 4.  In another two weeks, I get to run the whole time.  I'm still nervous about re-injuring the leg, but it hasn't really hurt.  That's helped me be a little more confident.

Tomorrow I'm going to try 3 miles for the first time.  We'll see how that goes, but I think it's going to be ok.

That's awesome! Congrats! =) When I was jogging, it felt like my left leg didn't remember what to do. It was kind of funny...like my hip wasn't...engaging or something. Strange...but I'm sure with time that will come back. =)

That happens to me, too.  Sometimes my body doesn't remember what to do and it all feels strange.  It's happening less and less.  I'm sure you'll get it back.
