Champion 7163 Verona WI--Ironman Bike Country! | Subject: RE: SWBKRUN Mentor Group-Closed! KEEP ASKING QUESTIONS!!! I had my road bike fit with clip on aerobars on Friday. My fitter changed out my stem and moved my seat forward a bit. Still way to early for me to comment on my position on the bike using aerobars, but I did ride the IM Loop on Saturday on the hoods and drops and part of it again yesterday without any body issues. Goal now is to actually use the aerobars on the road and stay upright.  Tracy--enjoy the race. Can't wait to hear how your "partner" does in the 10K! I guess that means no Thai food for a while? We are headed to Minocqua on Thursday and I plan to be up there through 7/12. Fortunately we have Satellite Internet access so I won't fall behind in group communications. I cannot imagine trying to catch up after being gone 10 days! I am counting down the days 'til the Tour starts. I heart Lance, I may have mentioned that once before. Had an A+ pool day too. My coach is awesome! |

Not bad. Should have had about 100 more miles on the bike, but family came first for a couple of Saturdays when i had long rides scheduled. Achieved one of my short term goals -swim a mile. July - 750m OWS race, century ride and 3 sprints (OCD...) July will be fun.... |
