Judi & I are both doing it and are thinking of going out afterwards...you could always meet us at the finish if you don't want to run. I don't mind running it. I didn't know anyone else who was running it and my husband doesn't want to. I can be convinced to do it. Going out after is enough convincing for me. |

We are always here to corrupt, er I mean, encourage. I mean - why run 6 miles if there isn't an adult beverage involved...oh, wait - I guess not so many places serve alcohol at 10 in the morning. Let's try again - why run 6 miles if there isn't something carb heavy involved? It'll be fun!!!! |

So... my Dad left and has lived over there ever since... weve got together for the usual family stuff, mine and my brothers 21sts and university graduations but thats about it... so I suppose its just been a long time coming.... Its weird as my Dads family (brothers, sister) are all very close.... oh well... its all just a bit weird! |

It felt weird as well - my dad was weekend-commuting between home and where his job was, so he wasn't completely out of the pic - I was out of the house, so I don't know how things were. But yes, it was weird. Now it's just a pain to try to coordinate 3 sets of parents for holidays, etc. |
