I got my Wednesday peach. I went to my local Tri club swim training and I swam 3100 ridiculous metres. My arms are now falling off!

Seems a bit of overkill seeing as my first race for the season has a swim distance of 150m. Do you think I'll be ok?

OMG thats a MEGA swim!!! My arms would be falling off too! I swim in the retard slow lane in my tri club, we only do 2500m at a time, and that kills me! I'll bet you'll have arms and shoulders to die for in no time

WhenAllElseFails - 2008-11-06 7:39 AM I'm so nervous but I'm heading out to the pool for Masters swim tonight. Everybody is so fast it really pushes me. And I'm in the slowest lane. We circle swim. Up to six in a lane. Usually four. But still it pushes me. Hope I can keep up...think good thoughts everybody. Yikes!

You'll be fine! If you're too slow they'll just lap you and they won't mind And you'll get stronger in time! Keep up the good work!

Hi Peachy kids! I had a fantastic day... very odd warm weather continues and I rode to the tune of 97k. Now for a looong hot shower, I'm glad we have no water restrictions here!!

BTW I know non tri training also counts for a peach box but for this challenge do you count in ALL stuff for the minutes or only count tri stuff for the minutes. Wondering where to include my yoga! Thanks!

97 km..Great ride. And stop teasing me with the shower talk!

It was a really loooong, extremely hot shower!!! Ahh, but what would you need  a hot shower for..you live in the land of the sun and get to cycle year round!! Lucky! What is the coldest it gets in Melbourne??

Ha ha, actually Melbourne gets quite cold, its known for having four seasons in one day LOL!

But, no ice or snow so not as cold as other parts of the world

We get minimums of about 0*C(maybe even -1*C), and yes I know we're weak but it's all relative. And  a loooong hot shower is always good.

It's actually not sunny today. Showers forcast but I'm going to HTFU and go and ride my bike....outside. I'm so hard core!LOL.

You ARE totally hard core!!! I hate riding when its raining, I usually don't

Quote for the day.......

" There are high spots in all of our lives and most of them have come about through encouragement from someone else. I don't care how great, how famous or successful a man or woman may be, each hungers for applause."
--- George Matthew Adams

So be sure to inspire at least one other "peach" member every day!!

Speaking of inspires - I love that quote on your blog that goes "One day my body will no longer be able to do this. Today is not that day!" I'm not a big one for corny quotes but that one mirrors my sentiments about life to a T!

Its been 7 days of peach for me! I'm looking fwd to the weekend and more peach. Only 2.5 hours of work to go and then I"M HOME!

If y'all are crazy for getting up at 5:30 for a run, what does that say about me getting up at 5 for mine? Good job peaches!

Heck, I get up at 4:08 for my workouts. I could probably push it to 4:18 and not drink my coffee, but I feel it's worth it.

Pushup challenge this morning for a perfect 7 for 7.  Hopefully I get on the trainer after work so I feel less cheap.

I'm travelling out of town this weekend so I'll have to make the peaches innovative to keep the streak alive.  Everyone's doing great so far.  Keep it up!

I made it to Aikido practice for an hour this morning.  If I'm really motivated I might head to the pool during lunch.

Well you beat me on the crazy scale Maybe we should come up with a sliding scale based on what time we get up. I did 4:45 this morning, but that's the earliest I'll do. Somehow that 15 minute difference from my normal 5AM is just brutal!

Awesome job! Could you please post your 40 minute ab workout? I tried to do a huge ab circuit yesterday but when I timed it it was only 16 minutes Plus, I'm getting bored with the ones I do, it's time to mix it up a bit.
