Hey bc... me and ms went and played a little tennis yesterday.  i forgot how much I liked playing.  Of course, it was mostly just me hitting waist high lobs to her forehand so she could launch them over the fence.  But every now and then she'd return one where I could reach it and it would all come back to me.

Nice. That's where it all starts. Next thing you know, you're at the State tourney drinking and playing and drinking and having fun!

Normally, I would embrace the Redneck Way wholeheartedly; but when multiple $2k-plus bikes are involved, please forgive my increased sense of caution.

Just drive an hour or so south to Griffin, GA and have a local build you a 2x4 roof rack.   Nothing a 4x4 center post and a screw through your roof won't fix.         Just look for the Skoal ring, and you know you're close.

meherczeg - 2009-09-17 9:48 AM i'm being a horrible slacker today, TAN.  eh.
Me too... but I have a cold. The Columbus Zoo brought a 3 mo old baby lynx and snow leopard to our work cafe... Very cool. Now it is time to go back to work and hope that I don't lose my voice half way through the day today.

Sweet, snow leopard are beautiful.  I wish we had them here.  Did Jack Hannah come too?

No Jack Hannah, it wasn't anything formal... My company is down the street from the c-bus zoo so we get a lot of visits like this. Birds mostly... or cheetah's since it is one of the breeding specialties of the zoo... never seen a lynx or a snow leopard this close. He was beautiful. Gigantic paws, long tail... way too big for his body at this point.

Baby snow leopards are the cutest things ever. All paws and tail.

I volunteered at the zoo in Milwaukee in high school doing summer camp things, which meant I got to get into the zoo early so I would see animals that wouldn't come out during the day.  The two summers I was there, the snow leopard had three babies each year.  I would come in a half an hour early just to watch them play.

So goggs, I see you're traveling but you still make time to TAN.  What's Trix's excuse?  And where the hell is Zirra?  Slackers.

Trix drives everywhere and Zilla is texting me. I got (real) texts from both last night so i know they both alive. Other than that, no idear.

Very cool.  Ask him if he ever did the raptor show with the hawks and falcons.  I loved that.

Milwaukee Co Zoo is a really neat zoo.  I blame them for why I have high standards in zoos.

Never ever come to Columbus then... There is definately a reason why they are number 1 in the nation now. Plus they area approved a huge bond for the zoo for expansion. The thing is massive now... just wait a year or two... It is gonna be a multi-day excursion to see everything

I need the clips that hold the rack to the car, not the bike to the rack. I got that part covered.
