Left knee still grumpy, so I didn't run while in VT.  I did get on the trainer last night and did fine.  Will try an easy run tomorrow.  Hopefully will still hit my goal!

iowagander - 2009-10-27 10:11 PM Now my wife just brought up sweet potato fries. I'm getting hungry again!

I just finished breakfast, and I'm getting hungry again!

that's what I was thinking...would it be bad to have sweetpotato fries before 9AM?

Alright teamies - nothing like Ann or Robin's story but here goes:

Yesterday I head home and realize the weather is pretty nice and going to be pretty wet the rest of the week so I decide to mow/leaf clear the lawn.  This is a 2 hour process and I figure if I get the front and most of the rest I can wait to hit the back once all the leaves are down.

So I am mowing along and my #**#(#)#)(*$#)(*$(&#(*$#*&$(*#$&#(&(*#&$(*#)(()@$ IT Band flares up so bad I can barely walk back to the house (and it is not that far).

I am so pizzola right now probably more at myself because after that I told the family I was going swimming and while at the Y I attempted a treadmill run for some stupid reason.  Made it about 3 minutes and had to bail so I hit the pool.  Then my leg flared up swimming and that really made me mad.

So I aqua jogged and am now at 100%.  If I get any more sessions in I will keep upping my goal because I lowered it in the first place so I don't think it would be fair for me to be able to go over 100% if Dee allows in the end.

Sorry to hear this Bill.....you need to rest it!!!!

Recap:

We are in 1st place and that is all that matters!

We have a lot of people closing in on 100%

Ann, Bill, Tom, and Neal all volunteered to take of a creep for Stacie

Stacie is losing her tapering mind and forgetting her undergarments at the Y and swimming in the **** (kidding - but she did forget a lot of stuff at the Y and fortunately it was still there upon her return!)

Ann was "forced" into a long run by some mean pups in the hood (or country I would better imagine!)

Tom has big feet and Stacie asked if he knew what that meant and he said that he had big shoes to fit them

Curiously Ann did not comment on this - is she trying to be good for the last couple of days now?

Robin has a farting chair, new shoes on the way because they were out of stock (Which brand Robin????and which model????), her computer likes wine and spaghetti so it is speaking Italian on the mouse - BonJour (or is that French?)

Debbie was mia doing Laundry all day - that does not sound like fun.  I think we need to have a Ghoulies moving party for her because I heart that part of NY and you guys would too after you saw it - especially with some snow but I think the rain is ruining that!

Amy stopped by - discussed dinner and kids and homework and then was gone.

Kendra met someone cool (double leg amputee who finished IM!) sang a cool song and then promised to be 100% by month end

I am out of gas sorry if I missed anything!

Thanks for the summary. Great job.

I know Kim but Robin mentioned men are stubborn yesterday and that is one of my bad traits but it is a good trait also Just not when it comes to recovery!

You know, it really does feel better when you stop running into the brick wall... just saying.
