Well I know I'm not hitting my goal.  I'm hoping to hit 80%.  Right now I'm about to take a shower and go to bed... my back still hurts and I've felt like I'm getting sick all day  Really hope this will go away with a good nights sleep.

Short dreadmill run for me today...  surprisingly not horrible feeling.  Undecided

Hubby just signed us up for a half century the weekend after Labor Day.  I think I have some bike trainng to do!  I should be able to finish my meager run goal with no issues though.

Had a minor "crisis" in the household tonight.  My daughter lost a tooth and as she handed it to me I dropped in right down the sink drain.  PLOP!  The girl was NOT happy and was ready to take the drain apart herself.  I had to write an explanatory letter to the tooth fairy.  I hope she can find her way through my sink drain ok to find that tooth.  Tongue out

Holy freaky earthquake down in Virginia!!  We felt it up here in NY...  My building was moving so much it made me so dizzy I almost fell out of my chair.  Glad to hear it's only an earthquake and I'm not dying...  hope everone is well farther south.

Wow!  Can't believe the earthquake you guys had on the east coast!  It's usually me that's rocking and rolling over here.

Entered this morning's run and it appears I am math challenged. Too tired to recalculate right now, but I have to add some miles to my goal. I should have known I'd put in the wrong number when I was "on track" early in the month because the plan is stacked at the end. Will get all the fingers and toes out tomorrow and put in the correct goal. Not to worry, I'm spot on so far.

In the good news arena, I got confirmation that I'm now officially "in" NYC in November. I had to fundraise to get a bib, but it's for a good cause. Big sigh of relief. Would be pizzed if I'd put all this mileage on the knees and had to defer another year.

Keep running/wogging/walking/whatever everybody!

Nice running everyone - especially the East team

I just upped my goal a bit as I am ahead of the mark. Should still get in just over target.

LOL! Good thing your daughter didn't ask, "What if the tooth fairy doesn't speak English?"

Then again, there's always Google Translator.

I ran today!!  I was supposed to be doing a washboard abs class with my sister but it was cancelled or something so instead we did some ab work and weights on our own.

Just realized that if I run everyday for the rest of the month, I'll hit my goal... I feel like that's doable.  I mean tomorrow will be a litte tricky since I'm meeting my sister right after work but I can just go to the gym around 8 or so.  Friday and Saturday I get off work early so I can't use work as an excuse.  I'm off on Sunday and Wednesday so no problem there especially since my sister and I already made plans to meet at the gym and I should be able to get James to kick me out of the house and make me run if I'm too unmotivated on Monday and Tuesday

<--- Here's your brick.

I would do a 'random challenge update,' but since I was already a slacker before, I'm in even worse shape now!

Off schedule 2 mile run tonight. Last big run before my taper is tomorrow, after that I'll just have to rack up the little runs until I reach my goal!
