mehaner - 2012-10-26 9:33 AM i'm so unconcerned about sandy.  although i have to stand outside at a boat comissioning in the rain tomorrow, so that kind of sucks.  can i wear polka dot rainboots with my suit?

Yes to the rainboots! (I just bought some lovely purple ones

Do you have a matching polka dot umbrella to complete the look?  That would be festive in the sucky rain

I would love to wear rainboots. But id look silly in them ....in the sand. But why shoud I care? I want rainboots!!!

Do they even sell rainboots in your neck of the woods?  I can't see that you would have much call for them, but if they do sell them in Tuscon, there sure are some cute ones on the market!

Oddly. They do. And heavy coats. And scarves and gloves. It's very strange. But ....the stores here carry a large selection of bikinis year round. Right next to the heavy coats.

Very bizarre.

And I don't know why, but the first time I read the "heavy coats" my poor little pea brain saw it as "heaven coats" and I was wondering what the he!! those would be... do they come with a halo? Absolve the wearer of all their sins?  Give you wings?

Oh wait, that last one should be a Red Bull coat.

stealth edit, i saw it too but she fixed it :-P

So I'm NOT delusional?  Cool!

i never said that, i only said that she originally typed heaven!!!!

TGIF.........

Hi TAN!

x2^  Need a break.  I think a vacation is in order.  Morning TAN!

No you don't know that you have the most kick butt facebook friend ever!

True. Me being his friend has surely change his life.

Yep, now he gets caterdays

I've not done a Caturday in months. Now I know you never visit my wall.

Not on caterdays

CatUrday. And ...whatevs.

Sorry caturday, but I will look tomorrow to see what fun you are having with out me

Ahem. There is no more Caturday. Star Wars Caturday could not be topped. So I ended it while it was on top. I'm going of a photo safari tomorrow ....in search of the Chupacabra and the desert Bigfoot.

Like George Costanza going on on a laugh.

I don't like sitcoms like that. Hated Friends too...and now all the copy cat ones that they have on the television. I love America ...just not the American sitcom formula.

I know this

Teejaay - 2012-10-26 11:11 AMIf I knew what that meant I'd agree. (didn't care for Seinfeld don't know all the jokes)

I am with you on this.  I do not think I have seen more than snippets of the show and I was not impressed.

hey TJ, Cord.

Hi, Kidol!!! (Waves) these cool desert mornings and nights are nice, no?

Almost darn right chilly.  Low 60's this morning.  Makes me not look forward to early morning outdoor workouts now.  BUT, I like the idea of busting out arm warmers.  Arm warmers are sexxeh to me.  Well, when worn by the fairer sex.

Friend and Seinfeld were fantastic in their day.  Now they seem kind of stupid.  M*A*S*H was aweseom too, and TO ME, has held up to the test of time a bit better.  But I'm old.

Note to self, check on buying M*A*S*H on DVD...

Teejaay - 2012-10-26 8:35 AM I'm no TV snob though ...I've been watching History Channel all morning ...Modern Marvels - Harvesting. Fascinating. Really.

As for sitcoms.  We seem to like Saburgatory and Don't Trust the B**** in apt 23...  They are both silly though.

Of course.  I saw that.  You know, I think Radar was the only one that was in both.  Also, did you know that Radar was missing a finger on one hand?  They hid it by him hold a clipboard or hands in his pocket.  I think it was his right hand and he ALWAYS had it hidden in every episode.  They say there is only ONE time that you can tell in all the shows he was in.
