I've got 164 reasons to go run today.

How many do you have?

You guys are lucky I let Matchy keep his legs last night.  I was feeling generous.  I got him a little tipsy though... that was funny.

question for the Dark Master...

On your 2 a days, what is your pace like on your second run compared to the first?

Just got back from a fabulous run at the beach this morning. (Another Naked Run)

Did 8 miles @ General Aerobic Pace. Although the plan does not call for it, the last 2 miles were pretty close to Marathon Goal Pace

Legs are really starting to feel frisky and the taper is definitely working:

Fri: 10 Miles - General Aerobic, 8x100 Strides
Sat: 6 Miles - Recovery
Sun: 12 Miles - General Aerobic, 4 @ HMP

Depends.  Usually fairly similar.  Yesterday, R1 was slower, by 9s/mi.  Not significantly different.  Monday, there was a minute difference, but I ran them differently (R2 was faster).

If I were truly back on my regular schedule, I'd be doing easier runs M,T,Th,F,Su, a harder session W, and a LR on Sa.

That about what you're looking for?  Consistent pace is better than having significant differences, for all of you normal runs.  Like I said, Monday night I did a harder session.

Spokes is at 8% ??? But the month is 12% over! He's 4% behind schedule. YEA! We're gonna win!!!

Edited to add:  Oh it worked.  I'm so de-motivated....NOT

Your math sucks. First of all, the fourth day of the month isn't over yet, so you can only assume that the month is 3/31 ~ 9.7% complete.

Also, you're assuming an even distribution, which is clearly not the case, given that most people--in particular marathon runners--tend to plan their longer runs for the weekend.

Nice try, though.
