Ken- Pretty sure that's exactly what the bee looked like today.  I'm telling you he definitely had it out for me for some reason haha But that was definitely the right order in my head hahaha.  My exact thought when recovering from almost falling "Whew that could have been bad for Bella" not "wow I could've gotten seriously hurt right now" haha

Nicole- I figure you've had enough crazy injuries I'll take over for now as long as I get through my triathlon in 11 days Although right now my friend John may be taking over for me... He's been in 2 car accidents this year just had surgery on his pinky after he broke it playing flag football.  He's now "celebrating" the end of the school year.  I honestly don't know how much he's had to drink but run into several things and I'm pretty sure I heard him fall over several times just now.  I must go babysit/DD to dinner haha!

Mmmm...with any great drink, you need great food...

Amazing Quesadillas

12 large tortillas
Can of refried beans
Handful of chopped cilantro
2 tbsp sour cream
1/4 cup shredded cheese

Combine and blend beans, cilantro, sour cream and cheese and spread liberally on tortillas. Fold tortillas in half and grill over medium heat in a skillet until cheese is melted and tortilla is a light golden brown. Add extra sour cream, jalapenos, and salsa to garnish.

Oh

My

God

Justin did you seriously take the time to photoshop a pic of Bonnie Tyler onto that speedo?

Priceless.  That just made my Cinco de Mayo.

And Todd, I totally plan on dancing around my living room wearing nothing but a sombraro and MY BT speedo tonight, what's wrong with that?

On your long runs when you are being beaten down by 97% heat and 98% humidty you dont think you can make it and all hope is lost. BT is a must on your play list. Start singing "Holding out for a hero" and I can gurantee you will finish strong. IT HAS BEEN HIM PROVEN!!!!! Ask Kelli. Plus if is on a certain "IRONPREP" website you know it has to be true.

Where's the street-wise Hercules

Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and turn and dream
of what I need

All too familiar as our oldest was in a production of Footloose last summer!  I got to hear that song A LOT!

Dinner was yummy - chicken with grilled red & green peppers with onions, spanish rice, refried beans with melted cheese, fresh warm tortillas, homemade guacamole and assorted fixins.  Dr. Pepper from the little bottles that is hard to find hit the spot though a margarita would have been lovely!

It's a good thing I am not currently running by HR (not even up on the Garmin display).

During my HOTTER THAN HELL (gotta love summmer in Texas) run yesterday a dog very similar to "the beast" (Hercules) in Sandlot jumped up on the fence next to me with about the biggest, deepest bark you can imagine.  Picture yourself pounding down the sidewalk with a nice little tune blaring in your iPod about mile 4 of a 5 mile run when a dog pounces up on a fence and sticks his complete head and both front paws above a 6' fence and barks at you when the sidewalk is about 18" from the fence.  Needless to say I should have needed to hose my shorts out after that one.  Fattyfatfat runs this same stretch of sidewalk - I am sure this has happened to him also.  This isn't the first time the dog barked at me but it was the first time I actually saw the dog above the fence.

Happy almost Friday everyone!

You know all this BT talk has reminded me that I still want a pair of red cowboy boots.

Anyhow, happy Thursday everyone.   It's muggy and rainy here so I'm really glad that I gave myself a light day at work and I won't have to be making too many calls with this weather.

My big to-do item today is to get my mom somthing for mothers day... which is something like the impossible task.  If anyone has some never fail mom suggestions, I'm open to hearing them.  Keeping in mind that my mom is a lot less like the Brady's version and more like the MILF you would see on a girls gone wild video...
