barqhead - 2008-01-11 7:22 PM OK. I'm gonna go play with the Garmin now that post padding is out of my system.

Wow, Pam, you are truly a champion post-padder, you have definitely earned some Garmin play time!

She just wants more stars.

Wow!  That's an extra special star... I do hope that Pam comes back soon to collect it!

Ooooo. Pretty. Glad I checked back. I set all my HR zones on the Garmin. I'll get to hear it talk to me during tomorrow's wralk.

Hi, Sharon, hi, Dee. Wassup?

Wow, Pam - that was very impressive!

The dinner party went well - but we eventually had to give not-so-subtle hints that it was time to leave already.

They must have been having so much fun, that they did not want to leave!

Good morning afternoon, Nibbs!  I have to brag that I had a PR workout week, this week - 13+ hours of working out.  Now, some of it was physical therapy but, hey, it's still grooving the body.

And... GO PACKERS!!!

Thanks, Dee... it is so exciting to have everything fall in place.  My time may be a bit down over the next two weeks as I will be traveling (and sitting in long meetings) for seven of the next 11 days... but, it looks as if the hotel might have a nice gym, and it is only a few blocks from Central Park so... if daylight holds, I may be able to go for a run in the park.

Way to go with the PR on working out.  Even if some of it was PT, once the PT is over, just keep on doing it.  We love our bodies...

It helps to have a hubby who owns a Garmin Edge cycling computer But boy, that thing is cool! I have all the minutes I spent in my HR zones, cool satellite maps of my run course. Fabulous! I set it up where I see four data fields at once. I can watch my time, HR, distance and HR zone. I didn't choose pace because I thought that would psych me out at this point. Now my coach can see that I am trying really hard to stay in the proper zones!

I did my wralk. 40 minutes with only two 1 minute walk breaks. Total of 3.69 miles. All PAIN-FREE. Yippeee!!!!!!

I don't think so, but I am a "free" member. So my options are limited. I uploaded my data to Training Peaks because that is where my workouts from my coach are located.

doing fine, Pam.  Worked 12 hours in fast track so I missed a lot of insanity up front   I haven't has a whole 12 hr shift in fast track in MONTHS so it was sweet...

I'm getting more envious of that garmin...hopefully soon I'll get something.  Probably not the 305 or 405 cause I just don't think I would use all those bells and whistles right now.

Yay for a good day at work! Although I shudder to think of a 12 hour shift. I don't see how you folks do it!

I did it!!!!! I turned in my resignation!!!!! I am about to become and east coast girl - look out!

Congrats Beth!!!  I take it your BT time will be severly hampered you'll be pretty busy the next couple months.  Good luck!

although for the next couple of weeks, I'll be around quite a bit because I will be extremely unmotivated and probably uninvited to most meetings- hehe

very glittery indeed!

we had fun at the bb game, unfortunately the girls lost - evidently they had read the stats from last nights game and they really focused on shutting K down (she had 23 points in the game last night)
