Hi Army Peepers

Had an ok race last night, I ran my fastest time 39:10 (unofficial) on that course (there are some nasty hilly) so pretty happy with that, but the best part was that I secured 2nd place overall in my AG I never saw the guy I was competing against BUT he only finished 3 seconds behind me So he most have been running like a madman on the last k. He is fast !!! but not fast enough

Great job Torben!!!

Hello Army!

I put in a solid 13km as a part of my second last triathlon for the season. I was aiming for a place today and I was sadly overtaken on the run.

I placed 4th. Not bad considering I was the last person out of the water by 10 seconds in my wave.

But that doesn't matter... I got a SERIES placing!!!! YAY!!!!! 3rd for the series in my age group! My first series trophy!!!! O_O!

Nice job Maddy!!!!

Rode yesterday on my own, which is very unusual for me and I really liked it -- (sorry honey )   It was cool but sunny.  Riding again today w/ some BTers around Red Rocks.  The Trixie Torture Weekend continues.  Then a run in the park.  I'm still ahead of goal, so if I'm over being lazy I may increase it.  Plan is to do more riding and less running to prepare for my marathon in May.  We'll see how that works

I broke down and bought some Peeps yesterday.  They were all out of yellow peeps, and blue and pink and purple are just too weird.  So I got cocoa peeps.  Washed them down w/ a honey latte so I was pretty sugared up for a while after that :p.  Couldn't handle it any more w/ all these peep avatars -- got my fix.   They are definitely better stale.  Better load up before Easter!

Everybody have a great Sunday!!!  And keep up the awesome training!!

I managed to get a 45 min spin class in this morning(Monday). I'm definitely getting better at this-up at 5:30 with no arguement from from my bed clothes. I guess it helps that we are still in the midst of a heat wave!

I worked in 14 miles and some change after 300 miles in the car today.  Ever just hate your job?

The Peep Army (ten hut!) is at 55% and I'm at 59%.

If the starts line up right, I can get a 50-miler in on Thursday.  Again, if the stars and planets are in perfect alignment.  Hehehhehe!

We have about 14 days left in the month and should be at 54.84% for the month.  As a team, we are at 56.37%, so we are just ahead of schedule.

Almost all of us are above that percentage, just me, Cat, and kelly_g are under the percentage.  Hopefully we'll get up to that level soon.

Fantastic job!  There is a point of trying to carry on when it would be ill advised, or to carry on when you know you can do so and finish the race.  You obviously took the latter.  Awesome job!  Glad you are on our team!

Got my last swim of the week done this morning.  Will rest this evening and if the stormy weather clears today, hopefully I can get a long road ride tomorrow.  (Our best laid plans... do what?)

March on, Peep Army!
