I don't think you need to drop all those dollars for training peaks nutrition plan just yet.  You might want to start with eliminating your crack habit.

I know that why I don't pay to get one.  There are some obvious things I can do (junk food, drinking booze) that I need to eliminate.  If I do that, THEN run into a wall, I will pay for an expert.

I think drinking is important for sanity.  Some days  just need to be capped off with a cold beer or glass of wine!

edit: extra word in there somewhere

As much as I joke about boozing, I don't do it really.  I never drink unless I go out.  Social drinker I guess.  The wife like a glass of wine every other night.  I pass, even though we have beer, wine, and fixings for cocktails.

But when I go out?  Frick yah, I get my drink on....

BTW - I tossed my churo things away (I always do).  I might like bad food once in a while, but deep fried something, with sugar all over it didn't seem apealing.  Plus I was full.

True.  I think that a lot of people for fix some of their major nutritional issues on their own if they were willing to be objective and take some basic steps.  For example, I have a friend who's constantly complaining about her weight.  If she were to (1) exercise regularly and (2) kick her 2 20z. bottles of Coke a day habit, she would likely see some improvement.  However she refuses to accept that either of these is a major contributor to her overweight status.

Yeah, but some people would rather complain about their weight than do something about it.

I think the best thing I spent money on was getting my metobolic rate tested.. Now I know exactly how many calories I should be eating a day,,, The RD that did the test also gave me my morning race day nutrition for different length races,

That's pretty cool.  I don't know if there's a place around here to get your metabolic rate tested, that sounds like fun.

grrrrrrrrrrrr

If you're having a meeting to discuss contract status, it sure would be nice if the contracts person would show up on time, not an hour later, when you're wrapping up.

It would be EXTRA nice if the contracts person wouldn't then go through the action item list saying, "But I already took care of that and that and that and ..."

My RD charged 35 for the test.. many gyms have it around here for about 40-50 dollars, If I lived one town over their community gym does it for 10 bucks.... it's really a simple breathing test, you breath into the machine for apx ten minutes and it tells you the info.  Of course the tri coaches in the area attempt to charge 150 and up for it.. like anything shop around
