kns57 - 2008-11-16 12:01 PM Tis the annual trek to Mexico where it is warm! This year it is Puerta Vallarta. Next Sunday night we will be eating at our favorite restaurant Le Kliff. It overlooks the bay, you watch the sunset, open air, thatched roof, sea breezes. Highly recomment this restaurant to anyone who goes to Puerta Vallarta. It is about 20 minutes outside of town on the south side of the bay.

I guess I can't be too jealous.  I'm leaving for Playa del Carmen on Thanksgiving.  It's going to be fun.  A friend is getting married, so lots of our friends will be down there.  Way better than going home where it's cold for Thanksgiving.

Yup, you are one Nibb who can't be jealous this year. You'll be on one coast and I'll be on the other. You'll have a great time.

Have you ever been there?

This statement is true. ETA - Statement # 1 is true. Statement # 2 is universally true in the universe of (Jen, Kristen).

These are both true statements.  Especially on Mondays.

We have been in that area three times now. Once was Cancun, so I guess that doesn't really count. The other two times we stayed at the Mayan Palace which is about 20 minutes north of Playa de Carmen, so we have gone to Playa for dinner and shoping for food. You can catch the ferry across to Cozomel, which is fun for a day trip. There is really good snorkeling in the area.

So, Yes in answer to your question.

We are flying in and out of Cancun (it was cheaper) and planning on going to Cozumel for a day for snorkeling.  I am really excited.  I think it's going to be a really good trip.

Is it really cold in Seattle now?

We are in the 50s today and it's supposed to be in the 40s tomorrow. Brrrr.... not what living in the South is supposed to be like!

Not bad-it was in the low forty's this morning, but that is quite cold considering that the entire greater seattle area was completely blanketed in fog.

Sounds like you're in the same boat as me.  I feel like the only work that I have is work that I have no desire to do.  I'm hoping something interesting lands in my lap between now and the christmas holiday or it could be a long month.
