Just realized as I got bored at work and started daydreaming that I'll be having a little mini tri for my workouts tonight.  Hopping on the trainer for awhile for max's challenge and then tri class run and swim.  Should be sleeping good tonight

I saw a skunk on my early morning run this morning!  Eek!  I thought it was dead in the road but thought it was odd that there wasn't a smell.  Then it looked up at me.  I think we scared each other!

WOO HOO, time for me to go, my neighbor called this morning and volunteered to watch my girls for a couple hours this afternoon so I can get out of the house and have some me time.  She has two girls same age as mine so this works out great.  Going to go to the LBS and look at a trainer and then maybe target to look for christmas presents.

Dinner?  None for me.  I snacked on some a couple slices of turkey and some grapes after my bike session.  Group run is soon so I can't squeeze in dinner and its too late for that when I get home

Hope you go somewhere nice for your birthday though!

Slugger - 2008-12-04 2:06 AM So I'm super excited - I went for an extra bonus run today! It was an easy jog out, but still, I chose a hillier course (not the trail run, but also not the almost-flat road run). Between two challenges (and the crappy weather one) and my meds really kicking into high gear, I seem to finally be out of the HORRID funk I've been in for the past two three too many months. I now finally have hope of seeing the scale go DOWN again, rather than creeping ever upward.

That's excellent....keep it up!

A nice white is the back up wine.  It's my favorite local white.  No cake.  Ended up ordering pizza and sandwiches for dinner.  Not ideal but hey, with three little kids that is what happens.  They wanted McDonalds.  Ugh.  No way.  They got pizza, I got a sandwich.

Group run and swim went great tonight.

Nothing like a brisk run in the dark over icy sidewalks to get the blood flowing.

Swim was an endurance swim.  I even found myself leading the "intermediate" lane, which never has happened before

Its always a good idea to have a backup on hand.

Good call on the pizza and sandwiches.  I've been McDonald's free for over a year.  Can't say I miss it at all.
