18 pages already.. wow, this is a chatty team!! I signed up for 30 miles, that is pushing it for me, but easily doable if I just get my butt in gear.

Hey Wes!  I'm in for 30 miles too (I think).  We'll make it!

Sure, but 13.1 of yours will be all at one time.

Yup!  Almost half of my goal! I plan to do pretty much nothing after the race! (of course that is assuming I get to run all 13.1 miles )

Dee can you do a post on how to add the team list to out dashboard? I forgot how.

ebshot - 2009-06-01 7:18 AM Mina, I need some new beer recommendations.  I am growing tired of Stella and Blue Moon.  What's your fav?

Lately I've been on an IPA kick (Green Flash IPA, Sixpoint Bengali Tiger, Smuttynose IPA and Stone IPA have been my favs in roughly that order, with Harpoon as my every day beer...) but, I recently tried Magic Hat's summer beer Wacko and really like that.  It's a little lighter flavor, slightly lower alcohol content (and likely calories) so a PERFECT after run quencher.

I think someone with a lot of time on their hands will need to make "taser notes" for those who can't keep up

Adding tables to your logs:

Some people can highlight the table (above) and paste it into their blogs. Others can't.
So here's another way of doing it:

1) Copy the code below.
2) Click the "Settings" button at the top of the page. (It looks like a little wrench.)
3) Click "Training Blog Customization"
4) Click "Dashboard"
5) Go to where you want the table to appear, and paste the code.
6) Click the "Update" button
7) If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll give you a different way of doing it.

Fourteen pages, it is only 2 hours into June, and the first word I saw was chocolate.

Wow, I *really* hope I sucker Dee into letting me on this team!

K, gonna go read instead of studying for my EMT exam like a good girl.

I'll bet the second word you saw was "taser."

Intros...

I'm Slugger, and I'm ingratiating myself on the team even though I'm not official, because Dee loves to taser me. I work nights, so I generally have to talk to myself, 'cept when Cat is slacking off at work and when TinkerBeth refuses to let Dee sleep ('cause TinkerBeth is the Sleep Fairy in disguise).

A little about me: my favorite alcohol is vanilla vodka, I am hardcore craving a black forest cake from Foster's (the bar, not the beer) but they only have it every once in a blue moon, and I never ever post pad.

I learned to love running. This still amazes me. I stopped pretty much all exercise around January, so I'm easing back into it. I'm working my way through a fun and exciting diagnosis right now, so if I start whining smack me and tell me to go do more pushups. Oh, and I'm trying to summit all 48 4000' mountains in NH. If you think the Colorado 14ers are some sort of big deal, you ain't never hiked in NH. Heh.

And hopefully by next weekend, I'll be an EMT!!

The thing that scares me the most is that I understood all of that ^^^. LOL

So that you can create orphan threads that we can post meaningless comments on.

Good morning, Challenge Participants!

It's JUNE, and the challenge has officially begun! (Although many of you are already well underway with the secondary challenge aka the "post padding challenge.")

There are some new people being added to your teams. So the roster on the first page of the team threads may be out of date by now. However, the Spreadsheet has the current team roster.

There's a link to your team's spreadsheet on the first post of the thread.

Some people like to update the spreadsheet after every workout. Others prefer to do it weekly. The choice is yours.

Every Sunday, I'll check the spreadsheets, and give everyone an update with the current team rankings.

If you have any questions, you can ask your team captain or me.

Enjoy the challenge!

Ready... Set.... GO!
