Tomorrow I get to start laying out all my crap gear and make sure I have it all for Sat.  Then I'm headed over to MA for packet pickup and such.  Gonna be fun!

toddg - 2009-06-18 12:47 PM Got the run for the day in this morning before work. Taking the family Taser Running team to the circus tonight so had to get it done early.

Fixed that for you.  (I'm sure you meant to invite us and it just slipped your mind.Wink

Okay...hop a flight, show's at 7:30pm.

Sounds good.  What time is dinner at your house?  Smile

More importantly, what are you making?

Funny thing with all the earlier posts....we're having a pizza. Just getting home in time to eat quick, then head out.

Enjoy the race. Packing is always stressful making sure you've got everything. My gear bag seems to be 75%+ of what I pack for a trip anymore, and then a few extra t-shirts and pair of shorts for the other days.  A good morning warm-up though if you've gotta lug it all a few miles from the hotel to the transition area. That could actually make a fun variant of a tri-race where you have to keep all your gear with you the entire time. I think I've seen some of the extreme outdoor muti-sport races in that format (ie kayak, mountain climb, trail run, etc).

ebshot - 2009-06-18 3:25 PM I got my bike back from the LBS. Took it for a ride in the rain. It is good to go! I got a new cycle computer installed too. Exciting stuff.

Cool!  I'm glad everything is in working order

Thought about heading to the pool afterward, but figured I couldn't quite squeeze it before the aquaerobics class.

Hey guys. So my flight was canceled, what a crap day. It was pouring, I dragged my bike, a huge bag of pretty much all the tri gear I own, my laptop and a suitcase to the airport, battled with Delta over the 200 bucks they charged me to check the bike, only to have to turn around and drag it all home. They tried to book me on a flight that landed so late tomorrow night that i'd have to miss HHH so I took a 6am flight to Milwaukee and my dad is picking me up there. The bike shop in Madison is fitting me in and if all goes well, I'll still make it. Bummer.

But I ran Five more miles, I'm at 65% of goal.

Had a bunch of big thunderstorms come through last night.

Knocked out the TV, internet, phone, etc.....

It was like living in the Stone Age.

Fortunately, it all got fixed by tonight. Good thing, as I was going through BT-withdrawal.
