We have a half marathon up here in November and its cheap.  Like 15 dollars.  But the medal and shirt aren't as nice as Mercedes Mary.

I only have the Orange Beach 1/2 Marathon on my radar for my long runin November. But it's Thanksgiving weekend, so we'll see.

Other than that no.

But next year, I'm really hoping for some Oly's and a HIM. I'll sprinkle in a few sprints while I'm there

I'm really looking at Chattanooga, Rocketman (if this years goes good), Buster Britton, Augusta HIM, Rev3 HIM, or Gulf Coast HIM.

Not sure why, but Augusta really has been calling my name lately!

cornfed - 2010-07-30 9:37 PM I've been having some numbness in my arm while riding.  It's been and on/off type thing for a while.  However, this week it's been getting worse.  At the end of one of my rides my hands were pretty numb and weak and I was having trouble shifting.  Now the elbow on that arm hurts when I try to lift things and feels like a pinched nerve.  Could this just be fit related?

titeloops - 2010-07-29 2:25 PM I'm doing Augusta in 6 weeks, so I'll give ya some feedback when completed. As mentioned, I gotta finish this years A race (and survive) before I can look at next year. There is a HIM in Costa Rica in Feb., that would be awesome. Not IM branded. I'm seriosuly considering it. CR is just an awesome place. I have over a million airline miles that I could cash in for flight and hotel. (used to travel every week for work so I racked up the miles)

Tangent:
Did a run this morning, and about half way thru the back of my ankle started to hurt. Still hurting. Not sure what that body part is, but starting to worry a little. Any idea's?

I was trying to find a HIM a couple of months out from the B2B and was thinking of doing Augusta in September.  I know you are doing B2B as well as saw your post here.  I may join you.  We also have a HIM local tri the second week of September here in Clermont, Fl.  It will be hot! Just trying to decide which one to do.

Peeps, I wanna get a set of race wheels before my HIM and IM. I been saving, and can prolly scrape up $2500 or so. Any opinions amongst the group as to where to begin my shopping. IE..,, brands, new versus used, online retailers?
