I can confirm that he is okay! Haha. He never mentioned anything about tornadoes... I first read "tomatoes ripped through Iowa last night" Hahahaha. I did not see ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES in Iowa last night. I'll let you know if I do though.
The tomatoes tore through Western Iowa. I was safe here in the middle of the state. It hardly even stormed. Weird. Although the wind decided to stick around. Steady 30 with gusts in the 40s today. I was sad to have to hop on the trainer when it was 80 degrees out |

Morning Ann! Hi Robin! I pulled muscles in my back this weekend. I will never remember that, in real life, some things are just too heavy to carry up and down stairs. Hmph! |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: April - RUN GHOULIES RUN!!! I tossed and turned here, too. I am achy, tired and really uninterested in what I have to do today. I would really much rather be working in the yard. We had some kids here last night and they went swimming in the lake. They reported that it wasn't "too cold". Which means that another couple of weeks and it should be up to my temperature. Unless we get lots of rain or dropped temps. Then I won't have any excuses not to swim swim swim! |

And tomorrow is Rotary so it will be a bright and early morning. |

Weather here has been terrific, relatively speaking. Got a nice run in this morning, although had a creepy moment towards the end. Saw someone coming up behind me on the other side of the road. Guy on a bike (not a biker, but a guy on a bike. no helmet, scruffy clothes, backpack, beater bike) He slowed down and was riding parallel to my run. Creepy grin on his face. Must say the HR spiked a bit. Fortunately, I was close to a neighborhood and popped a sharp left. He kept on going, but I was a bit nervous. I listen to my gut. Key now is to get back on track with weekday workouts. Hoping the job will settle down a bit and I can get into a rhythm again.
Yikes! I am glad that nothing came of that creep. Do you carry pepper spray or anything? I don't but I have considered it.
I do carry pepper spray on my fuel belt for longer runs that take me out of town and into less populated areas. This was only a 4 'ish mile/in town run, so I wasn't wearing the belt. Guess I may start rethinking that. |

Is work flexible enough to take a few hours off, so you can rest? I had actually thought about calling in sick, but when I got to work I found out that one of my supervisors who is supposed to close the building tonight already called in sick. I think she forgot that her teammate was scheduled off today, so my ABM is going to do a split day today. So, I'm stuck here. We have to always have a mgr/sup in the building during open hours. |

Now we used to go back in the stacks, and lay our head down on a study desk or even stretch out on the floor. but that might not be so good for the manager to do, hmm? |
