Fly_Tyn - 2011-11-16 10:19 AM Slow day in TAN... With the holidays coming up is anyone doing anything fun or exciting?
I guess by holidays, you are talking more Thanksgiving than Christmas? Either way, nope
I'll be in Sault Sainte Marie for New Years... that's about it!
That's all you got? I think skating with an NHL team is pretty exciting.
I guess that IS over your guys' Thanksgiving I kinda forgot about that one...
Oh that's right, you kanuks have it a month early!
Naw, you guys are a month late.
Man, I don't know if it's the coffee here at work, or whoever makes it, but the coffee here is awful.
Not knowing the origin of Canadian Thanksgiving, can you explain it to me?
Canadian Thanksgiving was born from the intense desire for Canadians to actually fit in on North America. They, socially, are awkward and have no true holidays of their own. Hence, they simply copy the US, but make their holidays earlier as it's so effin cold after October 31st, they must remain indoors untill the groundhog (they actually use a moose for this), says it's OK to come out for the 6 weeks of tolerable weather.
This is pretty accurate. Minus the moose. We use an elk. Moose aren't underground animals, man.
I was going to suggest a badger, but didn't want to insult Wisconsin.

If dreams are a peek into your psyche then I'm really scared of the one I had last night.
I'm always the leader of a rag tag bunch of survivors ina post apocalyptic world. Last week end, we had bunkered down in a collapsed building and were fighting block to block to recapture the world.

lisac957 - 2011-11-16 11:11 AM Staying up till 3 a.m. on a weeknight makes for a tired Lisa at work. Went on a little date I guess... I am so not ready for that yet
Coffee coffee coffee.
I did the same last night. Sorry to hear that you're not ready for it yet

Welcome to my world.
So? And? Spill it.
In the dream I was at some random house and my ex showed up at the door with her husband in the car outside. She came in and started flirting with me and started pushing me into the bedroom. So we have sex then she tells me to hurry up and “finish”. When I ask why she says because she is going to call the cops and accuse me of rape. So I kick her out of the house and her husband gets out of the car and we have words then I woke up. Now I’m not shocked at the part where she wanted to accuse me of something I was shocked that I said yes in the dream. That was the first dream with sexy time with her in over a year and a half so I don’t know if I was just setting up her up for the conversation or what but when I woke up I literally said out loud “what the eff was that?”

Is Tuesday the new Friday? I was out entirely too late, too. Beatles cover band at an Irish pub? Heck yes.
