They promised us the world up front, took our money, and then didn't come through. We lost our molds and a ton of money. We were forced to head to Taiwan to find a new carbon factory. We are currently finalizing details with our new factory and hope to open new molds within the next few weeks. You can read about he whole thing here It's looking like the new year for our wheels. I had heard about the Chinese factory troubles but hadn't heard of any estimates on how long it takes to ramp things up in Taiwan, the 2012 timeline is new info so thanks! You guys sure did get the short end of the stick but hopefully things will turn around with the new factories and we can start seeing Flo wheels in transition for 2012. Good luck, and cannot wait to see the finished product Our standard wheels (20 front spokes and 24 rear spokes) are recommended for up to 190lbs and our clydesdale wheels (20 front spokes and 28 rear spokes) will be recommended for up to ~230lbs. | 66 | Subject: RE: Flo Cycling- Group buy? Since you are using a fairing, you're going to be using internal nipples. Do you know the diameters of the spoke holes? It would be great to take advantage of the velocity veloplugs to not only save weight but be able to retension the spokes without removing/replacing rimtapes. They come in 2 sizes 8mm and 8.5mm. |
