Hey Lisa....

I can't comment in the singles thread cuz I'm not one.

BUT, some good guys like to take it a bit slow!  *ahem....*  Doesn't mean he's a flake or not into you like some suggested.

Sounded like a fun date too!

I learned when I was dating to not think about if they are dating someone else - just put them out of your mind and think about YOUR time.  Otherwise, I was getting myself all worked up.

That's at the beginning of course - as things develop, that should be a concern.

Good advice!

I'm still going with too many men are just too messed up.

Human kind is...  Just  have to find a comparable type of crazy!

Not me, I am perfectly normal! It is the rest of you who are nutz!

That's probably true.  Cuz when you are crazy, do you KNOW you are crazy?  That's the one good thing about going crazy.  You don't know it.

Not so fast there.  I know I'm normal, and I haven't seen you at any of the meetings.  Just to reinforce that observation, I asked my pet rock, and adjusted my tinfoil hat to better receive odd frequencies.

Both told me that I am normal, and you are not.Tongue out

Most people don't. I don't know if you remember when I went batshyte psycho late 2008 or so and the BT shrinks (I found out who every single one of them were!) were telling me it was probably gonna be okay because I *knew* the voices weren't real.

And free coffee.  They have to have free coffee.  But, if they don't have the little red coffee stirrers, then it isn't even worth it.

Bummer.  It takes a while to get ready to ride.  I had the winter/spring layers of spandex, the gloves, the helmet, the shoes.  I pumped the tires.  I got the 305 off the charger.  Then I went outside.  It was just starting to rain.  The rain was supposed to start about 4 or 5.  I thought I would have time.  I probably would have gone anyway if it was warmer.  But today, the temp is about 50 degrees now and dropping. Cold and wet on a bike.  I wimped out.

In happier news, dinner at the Dancing Bear last night was splendid.  And the evening in the hot tub and then sitting by a fire was not too shabby.  Way better than getting a card from Hallmark.

I guess I will get my gear packed to swim at lap swim.  The Oak Ridge pool is like swimming in a real life version of Cocoon.

I was swimming at the Oak Ridge Pool last year during lunch.  I think that is an accurate description.

WHY HELLO THERE!!!!

And who might you be?

Just some hack looking for advice/direction on how to respectably finish triathlons.

this is really the wrong thread for that.

Yeah - I know, but it is a lot more interesting.
