TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II ScotinSeattle - 2008-01-17 10:09 PM Well I opted against that as I would have to make it all by myself. So instead I'm going to have a cup of tea and sit in bed and catch on some penpal letters.
Have a nice night all sounds like a good choice hope you keep feeling better! |

Master 1841 Sendai, Japan | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Hi there fish folk. Just checking in since my swimming for the week is at and end. I only attempt to hit the pool on Mon-Thurs. Fri it is closed and Sat/Sun/holidays I don't like dealing with the crowd. My swimming is ahead of plan and I hope to keep it that way. I may hit my goal next week if all goes well. Nice swim Phil! Get well Lynne. I love curries. Spicy food cures almost anything....well at least I like to believe that. Rocky Horror! Haven't seen that flick in 30 years. Have a great weekend everyone! |

Master 1292 Houston | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II I have made some moves to increase my percentages this morning: 1750 yards, puts me at 52% at the moment. I am hoping to get to the pool this weekend as well with another 1750 or more. This should move me up in the percentages. Have a great weekend, FLYING FISHES!!!

Elite 4148 Utah | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Okay, gang. I'm going to try and catch up tomorrow. Checked with our aquatics coordinator and she thinks I'm swimming well enough that I could head over to another pool and probably keep up with their training. So tomorrow morning I'm going to a new pool to check out and "spy" on what they're doing. I figure for the $2.50 daily entry I'll spend I'll save a buck of it in gas and time by swimming closer to home at an earlier time. Wish me Luck!!! |

Master 1567 Kauai, Hawaii | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Good AM Fishies! I wish I could swim with the high school kids, they are out of my league! I swim with the local swim team with all the age groupers. I think the kids in the lane next to me are in middle school and I am just a bit faster than them, the high school kids whip my but! I get the same rest they do the little guys do, the older kids are always ahead of us, If I keep adding to my goal maybe I will catch up to them. On that note I completed my goal again so I am adding two more!!!!!! I love this challenge it has gotten my arse in gear. Swimming has always been a good way for my to heal my knee/feet issues! If all stays well I should be able to start running again! While I am going on I want to thank everyone who has helped me with my kids to allow me to swim! And all your inspires..............................................

Iron Donkey 38643 , Wisconsin | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II I was still sore from last night's long swim, but went ahead and added 1200 more yards. I dwelve all day long, then drag azz over to the pool, then once I get that initial shower done and stare at the lanes looking to see if one is open, I feel MUCH better. The initial entry is always a shocker, too, but after 2 strokes I don't even think about it anymore. Have I mentioned that me like swimmy?! I probably will not be online this weekend, but am planning on a swim on Sun. If you're in this Midwest deepfreeze, stay warm. For those of you more fortunate, have a fun weekend! A little sidenote - scotinseattle, you coming over to the "dark side" and cheering for us Packers on Sunday? With that spunk you had, every little mojo helps! |

Master 1567 Kauai, Hawaii | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Just want to share a little football talk. My husband introduced me to the game of football when we were dating. I watch some in high school/college but it was really just social... My husband is a very passionate viewer of football, I often encouraged him to become a coach or ref. As I watched him watch football on TV I got very interested because he would yell at the TV, cheer..... so he taught me all about it watching the Miami Dolphins, he is born and raised in Miami, had season ticket to the 17 - 0 season. I am from NH which is in New England, The Patriots. I have become just as passionate watcher as well! It has been a tough football season in our household. He used to tolerate my Patriots, but not anymore. I am not sure I want them to go all the way and win the super bowl, It will crush his memory of that 17-0 season he was part of when he was a boy. Now that they play more games it is even a harder accomplishment. I just wanted to share. |

Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II I started watching football after I realized I couldn't get soccer here. I was so sad. Of course the Seahawks went to the superbowl a year later and I got hooked. I've still got a lot to learn about it but I just love sitting down watching a game and yelling at the TV. My husband says I am a completely different person when I watch football. Psycho!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

My hubby has to watch from the beginning, he hates interruptions unless we have a football party, which for us is a brunch party, yeah football is on Sunday mornings for us, interferes with church as well. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Flying Fish II Hi Guys. Yet another long day at work. I just got home a little while ago. As a result, I also did not get a swim in - again.... It was a constant "crisis" at work today. Again. Unfortunately, I'm slightly behind where I'd hoped to be with my swim goal. However, if it isn't snowing tomorrow morning, I'll hit the pool, and should be able to catch up again. (We're currently under some kind of winter warning. But hopefully, the weather will be more cooperative than my job has been.) This month is going to be a constant battle between work, and trying to do ANYTHING else. (Yes, that includes eating, sleeping and working out.) And yes, I've brought home a pile of work to do this weekend.... I'm exhausted. (Can you tell...) I can't even see straight. (But I needed a BT break.) Bleh. Work. Bleh, bleh, bleh! |
