Really good training day today.  This morning I had 1hr trainer ride and averaged above 21mph for the first time ever.  This evening after work I did a tempo run, 10km TT in 49:32.  First time I have ever been under 50min, knocked a couple of minutes off my previous PB.  I have lost about 5 pounds in the last few weeks and I think this has really helped my pace.  Pity I'm off on a two week vacation at the weekend and will put it all back on!

OK the swimming is starting to click. I worked on the catch. I guess I wasn't bending my elbows that much. Seemed to make a huge difference. Really felt relaxed in the water.
The local Tri shop was having a sale on their last year wetsuit rentals. They are Nineteen Pipelines. I picked one up today. Brand new, never rented, longsleeve for $100. I think it's was good deal. I guess there is no turning back now.

Which one?

It's a Van Dessel Project PR. Nothing too fancy, but it'll allow me to have a dedicated tri bike instead of trying to shift setups on a single frame.

Guess I'm doing this tri thing. Just signed up for the Keuka Lake sprint. Hoping to do two more this season. Olympic distance for the Finger Lakes tri.
Why are entries so much?

Good job man!  I guess the BB didn't cause you an issue?  Looking forward to the RR.

I did my first tri for the season yesterday as well.

I missed some hardware by 7.5 seconds, can you believe it?  Oh well.  I put something together for a race report when the official results are posted.  Probably tonight.

I want to apologize to all the group members for being nonexistant for the past 5 weeks.  Life has been absolutely insane trying to get my husbands orders which finally came through today and we have to leave next week.  I won't be on much over the next couple weeks while we're packing, moving, finding a house, etc, but I want to thank everyone who has continued to leave encouraging messages for me.

No worries!  It has been pretty slow anyway.  Too early in the season.  It should pick up soon.
