Gosh, has it been a year?  Time really flies!  I know I should say no but.....the kids really like it when I make stuff for their classrooms.  And, I do enjoy baking...just not making stupid gingerbread houses!  I am now downing a bottle of wine and trying to forget the experience!

Yee Haw!  I like being in 1st place! (Especially since I will never be there in an actual race.)  Keep up the good work everyone!  When we look back over our logs at the end of the month we will be so glad that we put forth the extra effort to fit those workouts in.

I have to get my daughter to a soccer event, bake some cookies and head out to a party later tonight.  However, I am thinking I may just skip it all and sit here on the good ol couch, sip some hot cocoa and do NOTHING!  Yep...I am starting to think that is what the night has in store for me.  My magic ball says "possibly".

Ugh... feeling crappy and achy all over. I'm irritated because I wanted to start of the week kicking some a$$!! After 3 miles on the drainer, I wanted to throw up or cry. So I'm heading to bed and hope to make it up tomorrow. I think I just need some sleep!!

Got back on the trainer - finally got Jorge's 5min critical power session done - egads!!!  Anyway belwo are the numbers for anyone who is interested:

DateCP 5CP 20CP 60WeightWts/kg
14-Dec3122362112421.91

That is an absolutely horrible power to weight ratio

Don't be so hard on yourself. It is about improving not comparing!  You will find that the program does pay benefits come spring.

Good morning team (very early morning that is!).  I have been playing catch up on office work since I got back from my swim.  It takes forever!!! I think I have at least another 2-3 hrs to do.  I have got to figure out a better system or I am not gonna last for 6 mos doing coverage.  Tomorrow is a day off not in the office.  Hope I might get in another swim as well as a run outside.  May or may not get my strength session in as I have a consult gig to do as well.  At some point I need to plan Christmas too! Yikes.  Time for bed.  Hope you all have a great Tuesday!!

Good morning all.  Congrats to us on the 1st place!

I got some trainer time in yesterday and I think I finally have the rock rolling again to the point where I am looking forward to my swim and run at the gym tonight.

Here's hoping everyone has a great day (and that those gingerbread houses came out great)!

Erica, you had to make the houses at home? That does sound like a messy, sticky, pain in the you know what... My daughter is making them in school tomorrow. I volunteered to make some of the frosting for the class, but the bulk of the work/mess will be in the classroom!

I'm feeling a little better today. I think I'm just getting worn out from the craziness and lack of sleep. I think I have been averaging about 5 hours of sleep the last week and a half. I only have a short run planned today so that's doable. And I can make up my missed bike tonight with a trainer ride in front of a Xmas movie. Or even the next DVD of 24 reruns (if the mailman decides to make an appearance today)! I can do ANYthing for at least one episode of 24!

I just don't want to fall behind going into next week... there's too much fun to be had next week!

I had the privilege of making the houses here and then bringing them in to the school for the kids to decorate.  Lucky me.  I usually get roped into doing a TON of baking throughout the school year.  I have a problem saying "no" and I am a pretty darn good baker if I do say so myself.

I am in a HORRIBLE mood.  I went shopping this morning before I met Bryan for lunch and people were just so rude.  It has put me in a bad mood and I just can't shake it.  I ditched my swim and had to go to the grocery store.  Again, more rude people.  I love this time of year as long as I can stay in my house and be festive by myself.

Back from my noon hour work out.  I need longer lunches...   My Garmin malfunctioned - ticked me off.  Anyway, I went out easy - did a 10 mm pace for the 1st half, then just kept increasing the speeds.  I thought I ran the 3rd mile slower, but apparently I didn't.  I ended up with run splits of 9:43, 8:19 and 8:16.  I then biked two.  Looks like overall we are at 49% towards our goal as a team.  Do extra this week folks!  You'll probably miss 2 days next week!

Hey there Vixen's

Had a snowy bootcamp last night, most classes were cancelled but my crew insisted on braving the weather and getting out there anyway.  Will be hitting the bike and doing a run tonight along with an ab/core workout.

Keep up all the good work!
