Emmanem - 2010-12-18 4:53 PM Change of plans for me... Spent all afternoon shopping with my sister.  We haven't hung out much lately and with out parents and my bf gone its just us all weekend so we rented a movie and decided we'd both take a day off of working out and are gonna have a movie afternoon. Perfect thing to do with the weather the way its been today.

Sounds like a great weekend!

Emmanem - 2010-12-18 12:21 PM HELLO???????  Been quiet in here!

Raining all day so I'm hopping on the trainer to get a bike session in.  Think I may wait until Kona's on TV that's always great motivation

I love doing a trainer workout while watching Kona for motivation too Wink

Is it possible to buy a DVD version of the event and highlights?

I've been quite the slacker this week...  But I did my last race of the year yesterday.  It was after dark and we ran through the park with all the Christmas lights.  Celebrated after with a few friends and a few beers...

I was actually a little worried about it since I swam in the morning...  I had that "swimming tired" feeling all afternoon, you know what I mean?  But I think it was my best 5k ever!  At least, the one I've enjoyed the most.  And that's why I really do this.  As my 6 year old said on my way out the door...  "Don't worry mom.  We know you won't win.  Just go have fun!"  So true...  and her oh so sincere face cracked me up.

You're daughter sounds cute. I'm always amazed at how intuitive kids are and how well they pick up on things.

yeah, I need to get my hubby to sit down and agree what races I'm doing... My one race I do every year, he's trying to talk me out of...  It interferes with the beginning of vacation every year and this year there's extra family drama from his mom.  It may be best to avoid altogether...  But I need something to plan for!  My empty race calendar is not very motivating.

Ran 2 very tough miles today.  Had to walk and my lungs did not like the cold air but it's done and I'm very happy its done.  Got in a strength training session and my pushups and situps too.  I will bike tomorrow.  I keep saying this but it needs to be done so tomorrow I have to pump up my tires on the bike then get an hour bike ride in.  May go for a 1 mile-ish run too but I havent decided yet.

Not sure what I'll do today. It's snowing so a bike ride is out. Maybe a run at lunch, We'll have to see how the day goes. I will be tied up with appointments and Christmas shopping tonight.

i love the font

i'm bringing pop tarts, although you know i am very reluctant to share ... unless you're cute ... blast, that's all of you ...

and lots of yummy homemade hot chocolate made with real chocolate shavings and milk, though. i am drinking that right now, in socks and a sweatshirt, and long clothes, because it is freakin' cold here.
