Thanks to Judi and Yanti for keeping an eye on me and getting me back here. Crushers 1st anniversary is in one month! I think that we need to take on the unmentionables again in October... Welcome back!!! What are we doing in September?? And does anyone else wonder how in the world it's already almost September?? Can we do a challenge that involves swimming or a swimming option please...? I need to swim and swim and swim! Found a new coach and had a short session with him today. I think he will help me a lot and I am nearly ready to brave a squad session.
Yanti wants to swim too. Maybe a swimming option then? :D That she does. It's going to be a challenge to keep up (and keep increasing) this level of swimming in addition to bike and run for IM training. WELCOME BACK TO THE CHALLENGES MELISSA CRUSHER And as I said to you--in my memory September is a traditional swim or swim/run month for challenges ... and gee we just had a run challenge Seeing as I have no place to swim can we include biking or running in the challenge?? The pool at my gym is closed until october |

(or readjust for obvious health issues ) I'm going to get a good long walk in with my mom and some more running this week, so I'll probably hit at least 80% so I'm just like a pyrite weight instead of a lead weight for my teammates In other, far more important, ridiculously exciting news ... I GOT INTO IRONMAN MELBOURNE !!!!!!!!!! |

Extreme Veteran 668 Melbourne | Subject: RE: August East-West Run/Jog/Wog/Walk Challenge! I don't know what has happened the last week but things got a bit off track with the goal, got 8kms of walking in over this weekend with most of it pushing the pram with my daughter and taking her out for walks (Daddy and daughter are early birds, Mum and son are late sleepers). Bit of focus though and it should be all good for the next 3 days. For next month, hoping there will be something with an option for biking. Just picked up a power meter and will start to play around with it a bit. Happy with anything though as the next season is just around the corner with Spring kicking off next month so will be getting right into all 3 disciplines |

Well I figured out that I need to run 2 miles a day for the rest of the month, so that's what I did on the dreadmill. 2 miles. Directv is out so it was REALLY boring, but at least I have power to run the iTunes from the computer. And for the dreadmill, of course. Off to update the spreadsheet and have some lunch! |

Master 1623 | Subject: RE: August East-West Run/Jog/Wog/Walk Challenge! Didn't get my run in today We went to Ikea and spent the whole day shopping for the house. I finally got my awesome chair I've been wanting which makes me really really happy. Stocked up on some Swedish food too. I love going there it's like the closest to Sweden I can get in the states. Anyway we got home and helped my sister set up her new desk chair then grabbed some food before getting back to the house around 8:30. I thought about heading out for a run then but it was already pretty dark and I am not a fan of running at night. |
