Good morning Ghoulies!

I feel SO much better this morning than I did yesterday morning. It is supposed to be another really warm day here, and we have NOTHING going on this evening.  I know the boy has some homework for his science project to do tonight, but I may take the kiddos to the park for a little bit before we start homework.

I am off to a training class this am. At least the drive should be pretty both ways.

Maybe you should go pick out a tree?

I thought about that but it's dark by the time my husband gets home, and he has the truck.

Oh, well.  Do you buy a tree, or cut one down?

We find one, usually at the top of a long hill, cut it down, then drag it back to the truck in the mud. Yep, that's how it's gone the past several years. We have a cathedral ceiling in the living room so we usally get a 9-10' tree.

Good morning Ghoulies!

I was attacked by a hellacious headache last night. My husband was late getting home, as soon as he got home I went to bed. Couldn't open my eyes, light and sound made me want to vomit. It was not good. I have a hint of a headache today, but nothing like last night.

Bet it was related to your caffination event. Drink lots of water today.

How was your training yesterday?

About the same as always. It is required annual training so it is the same thing year after year. Our training guy does a really good job at trying to make it relevant.

It was a fantastically beautiful day, so at least the drive there was beautiful. Drove with the windows down. We need rain BADLY, but a warm sunny day in December was nice none the less.

So you enjoyed the zippy new car?

Definitely too warm for December.

Yep.. the zip and looking at my stellar gas mileage in the mountains" 48 mpg.

Because I NEVER talk about my kids...

Keri recently retested for their guided reading groups. She moved up 2 levels! She was on the same level all of last year. Since she is getting help in school she enjoys reading now. I am so happy for the kid, she is doing so wel!!!

We've talked about Caleb and the bullying, right? Caleb and I play a game on our iDevices. In this game you can be part of a Clan, and there is a chat feature. I am a clan leader, Caleb and a few others are Elders. There is a mix of kids and adults in our clan. Anyway... last night Caleb was on chatting with people, when I couldn't. One of the kids said he was having a rough night. Caleb asked him what was wrong. They got to talking, and it turns out the kid is being bullied. He was beat up after school. Caleb told him he needs to tell his mom. The kid said he tried but she doesn't really listen. Caleb told him to tell a teacher he trusts, a friends mom, someone who will listen. He told him that if there wasn't anyone there he could tell that Caleb would have his mom (me) contact this boys mom. Caleb said he was confident I would push until things were taken care of. He told the kid to hang in there, and take care of himself. The kid is going to Disney World for the next week to see his grandparents, so I won't know until he gets back how things are going. I hope it he gets it worked out, and I would contact his mom if he asked me to.

I have good kids.

That is fantastic! Enjoying reading opens up a huge world that isn't there otherwise!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got her a Kindle Fire for Christmas, I want to put some books on it for her before I give it to her.
