Or not. That's quite a spin piece there. lol So basically if I parse what that article is saying it's exactly what everyone else is saying. They agree that the US has the right to build a wall and it would be mutually beneficial and Mexico doesn't want to pay for it. /duh Says the man linking to Fox News. |

Unless the Pres of Mexico is a lair? I am sure they taped the convo...could get interesting. Why should Hillary hold a press conference as long as she is in the lead? You never know what her internal polls are showing too - maybe even better than the published polls? Why go in front of a (likely) hostile media who's real goal is to stir the pot and keep the horserace close to keep ratings high? As long as Trump is behind, especially in key battle-ground states, she will play it safe Id guess. She has a much bigger ad buy and a superior ground game in her back pocket too. Originally posted by ejshowers They are both opinion pieces from the right wing media, so what do you expect? I could post articles showing just how terrible a day Trump had yesterday too.
That's a good point. Guess we won't know until the next round of polls come out. I think the general rule of politics is being front page is generally good. People are talking about you and not your opponent. Trump held a press conference in Mexico for pete's sake!! And Clinton hasn't held a press conference in 269 days. Why is that? What are they afraid of? I heard this over and over yesterday.....even the most liberal commentators acknowledged that....and quickly tried to brush it off. Maybe they could put one of those little hidden ear plugs in her ear so someone off-stage can prompt on how to answer questions.
What was the blatant lie, I must have missed it? I fully support Clinton riding her lead. The Romney strategy has a proven track record. ;-) “Who pays for the wall? We didn’t discuss it,” Trump told reporters during a brief press availability with Peña Nieto after their roughly hour long sit-down at the presidential palace in Mexico City. “We did discuss the wall. We didn’t discuss payment for the wall. That will be for a later date.” But an hour after the meeting, Peña Nieto said in a message posted on Twitter that he did tell Trump that Mexico would not pay for the wall, contradicting the GOP nominee’s claim. It was unclear why the Mexican president did not correct Trump during the press conference, and the Trump campaign had no immediate response. “At the start of the conversation with Donald Trump, I made it clear that Mexico will not pay for the wall,” Peña Nieto’s post read in Spanish. https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-meets-mexican-president-side-000000... |

I wish you were even half as interested in Hillary's actual lies. |

That's like comparing Glenn Becks website to CNN. An OpEd on Fox supporting Trump is a little different than a blatant spin/hit piece from a left wing blogger. Yet again, Trump easily wins the day because nobody can challenge his arguments or his platform. The even funnier part for Hillary is that Trump is seeking to enforce the laws that her husband signed that she failed to uphold as SoS (and he's the racist hater). It's like calling a cop the bad guy for enforcing a law that's on the books. |

You mean by sitting on Twitter 24/7? In an election with such low likability for both candidates, I'm reminded of the old saying "better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt". If she wants to limit herself to weekly appearances and wait for Trump's next Gold Star extravaganza, that's probably not a bad plan. |

I know conservatives are giving Hillary a hard time because she's not "campaigning" like Trump is. However, I wonder if her strategy is to make it through the debates and sit back and do it through advertising and commercials so she can sway opinion that way. Obviously that will need a lot of money if that's the case and she has been fundraising a lot. My personal thoughts are that advertising isn't as effective as it used to be because none of us watch TV anymore and darn sure don't watch commercials Who knows, but I thought it was an interesting thought. |

I haven't given it much thought, but I turned on POTUS this morning in the middle of her recent speech and she could barely get through the words. Allergies, I'm sure. I was a little disappointed no Hillary fans confronted me.....I was itching for a fight! j/k |

Champion 10157 Alabama | Subject: RE: Election 2016 So Clinton has pneumonia and collapsed in NYC. I wish her a speedy recovery. i think her campaign would have been better served had they made this announcement when they found out On Friday and not wait till she has a 'incident' where she collapsed. At first they said she slipped but clearly she was unable to stand.
They em said she was dehydrated. I think I would assign a staffer just to keep me hydrated. |

Deep in the Heart of Texas | Subject: RE: Election 2016 Agreed. They should have announced the pneumonia when it was diagnosed on Friday and limited her engagements over the weekend. She could have gone to the 911 memorial, but given the expectation that she'd only be there briefly. The optics would have been much better than her passing out and being rushed out of there with no explanation until later. Plays right into the narrative about her trustworthiness and transparency. Pneumonia is dangerous and people are hospitalized all of the time because of it. I hope she takes the time to heal or it will be nagging issue for months. |

Still a lot of unknowns. Is it bacterial or a virus? How long has she had symptoms? What medication is she on? I'm not a doctor but would think her doctor would have told her "drink plenty of liquids" would they not? Dehydration sounds plausible....especially to us triathletes.....but given the pattern of secrecy I am skeptical. I've been dehydrated many, many times.....but never to the point of falling down. Then again, I am not 68 years old. |

So shortly after she fell out her 'personal physician' said she had become overheated and dehydrated but is fine now......not mention of pneumonia. The definition of a compulsive liar is when you lie even when the truth would serve you better! So their knee-jerk reaction as "overheated and dehydrated". I was in NYC till Tuesday and it was beautiful! Temps in the mid to low 80s not the high 90s. So after their initial story of overheated and dehydrated came out I'm sure people started thinking, "I didn't see anyone else falling out" over the heat? So then they have to modify the story......."And OBTW, on Friday she was diagnosed with pneumonia....didn't we tell you?" |

So the more I read: "Doctors advise patients to take rest and consume plenty of fluids." The more I'm blaming her staff/handlers/personal doctor. They knew she was sick with pneumonia! They knew she needed to stay hydrated (or overhydrated)....yet they allowed her to go out and make an appearance and become dehydrated.
