When do you think I'll hit the magic number? Where will I be at the time? Will my post have substance?

Something to ponder.

Happy Friday Evening! We're headed out for Mexican...thought we were going for pizza (mmmm pizza) but Sugar Daddy is craving a margarita (must have had a day at work).

Yummy yummy, fajitas in my tummy.

Little Red Riding Hood is skipping thru the forest when she sees THE BIG BAD WOLF wolf crouched down behind a log.

"MY... what BIG EYES you have, Mr. Wolf."

The wolf jumps up and runs away.

Further down the road Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf again. This time he is crouched behind a bush.

"MY... what BIG EARS you have, Mr. Wolf."

Again the wolf jumps up and runs away.

About 1/4 mile down the road Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf again. This time he is crouched down behind a rock.

"My... what BIG TEETH you have Mr. Wolf."

With that the wolf jumps up and screams, "Will you knock it off! I'm trying to poop!"
Very funny, Scott

May I rant?

Is there anyone on BT that makes your BP skyrocket because they're so pizzy in nearly every post they put up? (Don't name names - I'm just setting up the story.) I have found some people that kind of make me irritated, so I avoid the places they hang out. Good for me.

But when they interject themselves into the places where I hang out (and they don't usually) and get all pizzy it makes me crazy-mad.

I'm in a mood now. And I ate some cookies.

I am done ranting.

Good evening, Nibbs. It feels like YEARS since I've been here.

And yes, you may rant.

Of course, I'm still trying to figure out what "pizzy" means, so that I can determine if I'm the non-name that you've been speaking about.

Oh wait - I haven't even been ONLINE in.... years. So it can't be me. (On that note: Work is still a 4 letter word....)

Anyway, I just ate half a bag of chocolate chip cookies. However, I can share the rest with you (collective "you" - referring to all Nibbs).

Carry on. I'm trying to figure out what's been going on here, since I last checked in.

Eh, um. I wouldn't ponder it TOO much. However, we'd like to suggest that you hit that Magical 2000th post here in NIBBS.

Although, I'd be ok with your spending your next 69 posts attempting to get your current teammates talking. I was offline for 2 days, but I came back to find them still on the same page. What's up with that? It's supposed to be a CHATTY team.

I dunno. Make 'em chat or something.

Oh, Dee - you would never be pizzy. Even if you were here. Even if your job didn't suck monkey toes.

You can send the other half of the cookies to: Enders_Shadow, Suburbs of Richmond, Va. I'm pretty sure the USPS would be able to find me.

Pretty much nothing happens without you and TinkerBeth.

I'd like to think they are too busy running to chat, but judging from the spreadsheet, that's not the case. I think we're finding out who the chatty instigators are (and they're on Jen's team). That's OK - it's hard to keep up if they're really chatty.

So what do you suggest to get our team 1. RUNNING and 2 TALKING about it??  INSPIRING PICS WANTED...I'm not too good at posting pics cause of the stupid editing thing the site makes you do to all your good pics--Maybe Yanti can help inspire our team to running with a pic of Desiree Ficker for the guys and some other really hot looking guy (does Macca do it for you?) Heck, I'd settle with pics of Hollywood types running on the beach as long as they had the bodies to show

I lead the Putrid Puddings in Dec--we were DFL despite all the inspirational pics Yanti posted on our thread and dropping 2 dead woods who stopped trying after the second week.  My older daughter LOVES the Patriots and would get a huge laugh out of my having to post their helmet for a month (I rooted for the Giants because New England is well full of themselves and NY showed up ready to play ball)

I dunno. Waving the whip around seems to work.

Kendra and Mila and Devouahy have been cracking the whip at the Swimming Rocks. There's not single person on that team who is still at 0% - plus they're doing pretty well in the overall post count war, too.

Well, I completely MISSED the moment. (One of the "big ones." Can't remember if it was 1000 or 2000.) But I noticed my stars were missing.

That's when Cat and Beth were waiting for me to post the team rosters....

But I didn't know they were waiting....

And besides, I was busy trying to find my lost little stars.

LOL

sometimes it's worth EVERY calorie

One of the docs suggested Starbucks frappuccino as a recovery drink.  I checked out the nutrition label tonight at the grocery store.  I don't think it's worth the 200 calories...30 (% I think) fat calories, 17 gm carb (mostly simple sugar) and 7 gm protein.  I think half a peanutbutter sandwich on wheat with low fat milk would be a better value calorie wise--but I would eat peanutbutter every day (and usually do)

Peanut butter. A very tasy red light food. Also my pre-race breakfast of choice. Either peanut butter toast or peanut butter bagel. My GI tract <3s peanut butter

Yeah, I really like the google spreadsheets, too.

Unfortunately, I'm having trouble loading them tonight.

Hopefully, my internet connection will be faster on Sunday - which is when I'll have to get the numbers for the Update.

X2, the google sheets are SOOOO easy for record keeping.  I think they're better than the other way too cause there's no human error calculations to convert metric to nonmetric for the distances

Heck, I'd settle with pics of Hollywood types running on the beach as long as they had the bodies to show

I dunno. Waving the whip around seems to work. Kendra and Mila and Devouahy have been cracking the whip at the Swimming Rocks. There's not single person on that team who is still at 0% - plus they're doing pretty well in the overall post count war, too.
Oh well. It's all in good fun. I have to admit, I'm liking the google sheets. I type in my total and PRESTO a magic percentage appears. Probably a lot like the cavemen felt when they first saw fire.

X2, the google sheets are SOOOO easy for record keeping. I think they're better than the other way too cause there's no human error calculations to convert metric to nonmetric for the distances

Well, that's because there's no way I was going to make a spreadsheet as complicated as Donto's!

He had all sorts of stuff (that I didn't understand) in there. LOL

Where'd everybody go? I had to read a bedtime story. Then I checked my e-mail. 'Tis the season for lifeguard classes. Yuck.
