corstan - 2009-12-15 2:56 PM Hey there Vixen's

Had a snowy bootcamp last night, most classes were cancelled but my crew insisted on braving the weather and getting out there anyway.  Will be hitting the bike and doing a run tonight along with an ab/core workout.

Keep up all the good work!
Sounds crazy but makes for great stories later! Bet you had fun too!

Well I was in a major grump today too!! Went out for a 5 miler.  Felt better and by the time I got back it was dark enough that the house didn't seem so messy.  Since we have no overhead lights in most of the rooms they get kinda dark. Better to hide the dust and junk in the corners.....  Also declared it take out night.....much easier than facing the market.   I may go later tonight.....actually just typing this has convinced me I will not go...maybe early early tomorrow.....nah, maybe just order extra take out for tomorrow too!!

Save yourself Kathy!  The grocery was a nightmare!  I'm still in a bad mood and that was hours ago!  I have decided and declared that I will be a grump until tomorrow.

Tis the season to be Jolly until you actually leave the house, then it doesn't seem to matter how good your mood is when you leave the sanctuary that is home and go to any place that involves parking and shopping.  Stay in, do take out and have a stiff drink or 10!

Evening fellow vixens. Just checked the spread sheet and WOW...we are doing well. Especially given the holidays.

I SO DID NOT WANT TO RUN TODAY. But I did, because of the challenege...so thanks Vixens!!!

I too ventured for a mega grocery shopping today as I am having 13 for dinner on Saturday!!! I went in thinking it was going to be dreadful but wasnt too bad. I had two carts filled so people had pity on me and let me through. When I got home my daughter stopped by and helped me unload...bless her...this IS the reason to have children!!!!

Now for a beer in front of the fire...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

got a 30 minute bike in on the recumbant, hubby was on the drainer and I didn't want to wait, and then did a light and easy 30 minute run and a 20 minute ab set.  Time to shower, and get some grub.

I actually got up for an early spin class this morning! I can't remember the last time I saw 5 am (on purpose)! It was nice to mix up the bike training a little. I haven't been to a spin class since last spring and I forgot how much it can kick you in the butt. Or maybe I really have gotten THAT out of shape since my last race...

How many miles would you guys give yourself for an hour spin class? It was a good hour too, not including the warm down.

LOL... I'm sure the store here is a nightmare too - there's so much traffic that I can't even GET to the store to get food! What really stinks is that my daughter's preschool is across the street from this store and I have a hard time getting to her parking lot too... poor girl wonders what is taking me so long to pick her up these days.

Okay, I got my Monday housework finished.  I'm only two days behind.  That isn't too bad, is it?????    Oh well, good thing about housework is that it will always be waiting.  My floors look so much better.

I am off to the dreaded Super Walmart.  Wish me luck, I need it!

You are just a glutton for punishment, aren't you?!

There are a couple of senior centers near our grocery store so I try not to shop between the hours of 10 and 3.  Those old folks are rough with their carts, salty with their language and evidently have places they have to get to in a hurry!  They also like their meat sliced "just so," which makes trips to the deli much longer than they should be.  I'm not looking forward to this weekend since they seem to get even worse with a little holiday egg nog in them.

Have a great day all!

Hey Vixens!  Hard to believe but I have visited the pool twice already this week!!!  Just 30 minute swims to practice technique but they count for the challenge and I am happy that I got them in.  I think I have 3 left to make my goal for the month so it's looking good.

Some people use the amt they would usually ride outside in that time.  The bikes at my Y have odometers and I usually avg about 22-24 miles in an hour class.....needless to say I don't ride that fast outside.........so use whatever number makes sense for you.  The important part is you are on the bike and training!!

Got a swim workout in today.  Unfortunately, it doesn't count for our challenge.  Swimming at the local gym pool is proving to be quite the adventure.  Yuck!

Hey Vixens  - sorry to have been out of pocket the last few days, but between work and home it has been uber crazy...  Anyway - stitches are out so I am off to the pool today.  Have gotten in several rides over the last week, just have not had time to chat!  Looks like we are still on track!  Go Commando Vixens Go!!!

Hey team.  Got my trainer session and a freezing cold run done today.  It was 18 degrees and windy out.  Ouch.  Glad it's over!   Now on to holiday baking!  Cookies and bread and all sorts of other yummy things.

I made bread after Jorge's punishment last night...  Wrapped Christmas presents while it was baking - I am getting closer to the holiday spirit now...  When is Festivus anyway?
