It may pay to get A's but C's get degrees!

(FWIW I liked getting all A's)

I'm thinking that too. If my stomach keeps growling like this I'll need to get earplugs.

Nothing fun going on this weekend.  My apartment needs a good cleaning.  I was hoping the cleaning elves would show up while I was on vacation, but no such luck.

I have a question for THE VILLAGE

My sister gave me an AeroGarden and I'm growing basil, chives, and thyme. I don't know what to do with the herbs once I'm done growing them.

Any thoughts?

Easy peasy. The chives and Thyme are perennials. You can transplant them into your yard (sunny well drained spot) when you are done. With all of them, while you are growing them, occasionally get some sissors and give them a "hair cut". Take the cuttings use what you need for cooking (fresh herbs are yummy) and dry the rest. You can do that in the sun, the oven (google herb drying), or a food dehydrator. Put them in jars and Voila- home grown herbs. You can dry small bunches at a time, you don't have to harvest them all at once.
Basil- you can make pesto. That too is easy peasy. I make it at the end of  the season and freeze it. (I use sun flower seeds instead of pine nuts).

My DH and I spend a very enjoyable evening one type making 5 quarts of pesto- when you make it, you will see that is almost factory production scale. I had A LOT of basil and it was going to frost the next day and I couldn't bear to have it die. We had to make midnight runs to get more olive oil- difficult around these parts. All you need is a food proccessor or blender. and wine- Yes, I know, there is no wine in the recipe but I can't make it without it! Wink

Morning Neal!
You just rocked your race! That sand ladder looked HUGE to me!

This morning, I am pretty sure there is no amount of coffee that will de-b--chify me.
