Artemis - 2011-03-10 6:45 PM No running for this girl yet.  My foot is still sore and have to get an MRI next Tuesday.

Spending 2011 rehabbing 2010's injuries is not on the agenda we had planned.  This is getting OLD!  Hope your mri gives a definitive answer and plan of action!!

Aww sorry Judi and Jen about the ongoing frustrations!

You two are both pretty patient with it all... its so impressive... not sure Im always so good!

I don't know that we are patient, so much as resigned to our fate.  There's not much to do and I'm tired of hurting myself.

Well said, Jen!!

I have had many hissy fits in my blog about the whole matter.....but have resolved to focus on what I can do......which at this point is almost everything but run.  I have to modify a lot of aerobics classes, but can do them.  I can ride as long as I don't push my pace too hard......Walk to my heart's content.....hoping t start run walk ratios again soon.
Did they give you a time frame for starting those run walk ratios? Hopefully, it's sooner, rather than later!

He is being very tentative about this ......I have learned I cannot push him cause he will only stall me longer to wait.

For some reason I find, with PT's, the more conscientious and eager you are... the more they worry!

Probably because they have patients who decide that if "doing a little" is OK, then "doing a whole lot" must be way better?

Actually, I can understand this. As the patient starts to feel better, they want to do more.... And the PT is probably worried that the patient will overdo it....

The result is that the more eager the patient appears, the more apprehensive the PT becomes! LOL

It was exciting!  Not from a sprint standpoint, but because there was rain and some tricky descents.  Voeckler and Sammy Sanchez looked really good on the descents.  Voeckler won the stage by 0:22 over another rider and Sanchez took 4th.  Watching those guys descend in the rain though was super impressive!!

Tony Martin took overall.  He looks good!!  Kloden was 2nd and Wiggins was 3rd

Bike riding is on the approved list of activities, right? So that's OK. Tell him that you'd rather have run there. Oh wait, that will make him wayyyyyyyyyyyy tentative. Nevermind. LOL

Sounds good - heard on the radio this morning that Cadel won Tirenne-Adriatico too! Bit early to be in form but I always liked him in some of the one-dayers and spring tours so I hope he might focus on them more this year!

My injury is bursitis, so I am allowed to run through the pain.  It's being treated with a very short course of steroids and anti-inflammatory after that.
