Okay Ghoulies. My training is over and I am off to the Doctors to get the results of yesterdays ordeal.... I mean tests.

They could call me but I guess they want another doctors visit. I already know they are fine. However, when I get done I am going for a mani-pedi. Just because I can.

Stacie, sounds great.  Yes, we all have to make concessions sometimes and the fact that they also made concessions speaks a lot for wanting to work with you.  You go girl!

I'm ready for a mani-pedi.  It is the season for it afterall, got to have nice looking feet.

Okay ghoulies, my weekend plans have changes.  We were running a round robin tennis tournament to raise money for the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, but we did not get enough participants this year.  So, we will try again in August and maybe go for a different time than what this one was.

So that freed up our Saturday for about 2 minutes.  We are now volunteering for a bicycle race and manning a SAG station for about 4 hours in the morning.  Then I'm getting hubby to take me out for a great lunch. 

Don't you love how things like that happen? Have fun with the bike race.

Good morning Ghoulies!

We didn't have a soccer game last night, but my son did have practice. We've gotten a lot of rain lately, and it is to be wet today and tomorrow yet. I'm not sure we will get Thursdays game in either, the fields were pretty soaked last night.

My son has an away game tonight, I'm not sure when I will get a workout in today, but I will continue my streak. Right now I'm thinking yoga before bed, but we shall see.

Got a call from a SIL last night. Every spring we go canoeing down a local creek. Depending on the water we take the kids with us, or if it's rough, the adults take the canoes part way down, past the rough stuff, then we pick up the kids along the way.

I'm going to go with my SIL and a nephew on Saturday afternoon to scout it out before we all go on Sunday. Those 2 will be in a canoe, I'm going to kayak it. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Fun fun fun. I LOVE canoeing or kayaking. I don't do it enough. Wish I could go with you all!

another cold and rainy and windy day here. Feels like March all over again. This weekend we will be in mid summer It is supposed to be mid 80s.

That's what our weather forecast is. The report I read this morning said that next week will feel like the end of June instead of the end of May.

Come on up, we're going at 12:30 on Sunday. Not sure what time we're going on Saturday, sometime in the afternoon.

Perfect. The weather will be hot so being on the river will be nice!

its been nice.

finally feeling a sense of stability and some semblance of a routine.

feels good.

i went to the Y last night to swim.  not used to being there in evening.  totally different.

my masters swim team friends were there, NOT that i swam with them.

theys too speedy for me.     of course they said to come on and in and join them, and im like yeah right.  LOL.

but i did swim in the next lane to them.  they made me feel speedy just being by them.  

swam for 30 mins continuous.

like i said im having a nice, easy rolling start to my day.  getting the boys off to school and getting some laundry done.

then its off to meet a clients mother

then an eye appointment

then another clients mother

and then heading up to my office just for a bit to turn in a trmnt plan for camp for one of my clients and sign off on progress notes and such.

then home to get the boys off the bus.

and then another client.

i will be done early this evening, but will park my arse at Paneras and get some paperwork done and do some programming.

the boys have Friday off so im trying to cram so that I can just hang with them. 

woosh.  sounds like a lot doesnt it?

It's dark and quiet under my desk. I have my heater running, too, so you'll be warm. I'll wake you at the end of the day.

Last night I saw the musical "Hair".  It was fun.  I remember growing up with the music, but had never seen the show before.  Actually has a really sad ending and yes they did do the nude scene, but the stage is so dimmed they could have been in bodysuits for all we could tell.  And I was in row G.

Got up today thinking I had a hair appointment that I needed to squeeze in before going to the branch early to run a branch meeting.  Looked and realized I had moved my hair to next week.  Now I'm sitting here all dressed up and no place to go.  Not going to clean the house since I'm dressed for work.  LOL

Branch meeting will be short today.  We are using part of the time to decorate the branch for the summer reading program, of which we can start taking names come Saturday.  8 more days of school and then freedom from the afterschool crowd.
