I too worked from home for quite a while.  Presented its own set of challenges, but awesome overall.  I did miss the interaction with people when I wasnt travelling much.  Was kind of surprising to me because most of my coworkers were kind of annoying at the job I had previous to home job.  Honestly I ended up giving it up for about $20k/year more than I was making and wish I wouldnt have. 

I live and work in The Big House.  Moved here from Yuma when I worked from home a couple years ago.  I could live anywhere in Az I wanted so I bought a 4200 sq ft foreclosure for dirt cheap.  3 weeks after I signed papers I was presented with an opportunity to work in CG with an old friend.  Now I am a proud(well sort of) Casa Grande resident.  I drive to the valley way too much but its a good life, so whatcha gonna do?

You can get a piano-playing machine! They are kind of creepy ... but cool, because it's still the actual piano music, not a recording.

Exactly.  I think some nice classical in the background...

But how creepy would it be if it started to play at 3am?  Even creepier, what if it played and it wasn't a self playing piano...  I always have a crazy imagination.  But usually, it's dedicated to something a bit more "fiestier"!

The kilt comment had me thinking of a senerio...  That's a better use of my imagination.

Well thank you for your hospitality kind sir.  I've kinda been going to the valley for the better part of 25 years.  Phx has kind of been my 2nd or 3rd hometown since high school.  It's been interesting to see it change over the years.

Very interesting to see it change.  Moved out here roughly 13 years ago and holy cow it's different.

I grew up with that kind of weird shyte happening all the time ... then again, I come from a country where the royal leader has a "ghost consort."

Seems like the biggest changes I have noticed were between 90-95 and then from about 99-02.  and of course the last few years.  About 5 year cycles it seems.  Honestly anymore driving through town it seems like a desert LA.  I could definitely do without the traffic, but I don't have to worry about it often during the week.

I would be happy to oblige...  Just close your eyes at the end.  I heard it stings.
