Regimom!!  Sorry about your car.  WFT? 15 miles away??  That's more than a couple blocks.

Let me just clarify....  I got a ride to work, which is 15 miles away from where I was.  Which is where my car was.  Which is 15 miles away from where I am now.

I think we're all clear on the logistics of it all!

I'm super crabby.

There's a special shampoo for that.

Once had a guy tell me all you need is some hamburger and a river. Very interesting.

I've heard of shaving off half the hair, lighting the other half on fire, and then stabbing them with a pencil when they run away from the flames.

Question is RM... Did you swear when you found your car 'missing'?

I'm waiting for my good samaratin to come get me and take me to my car.  I hope it is really where they said it was.

Funny.... I actually didn't.  I don't swear much in the presence of others.  If I was alone?  Oh the f-bomb would have been flying.  Considering the evening I had, a tow and a ticket is not so bad.  Could have been much much much worse.

I'm so living like a young 20 year old right now.  Well, only when I don't have the kids.  So, not really like a 20 year old at all.... more like a 33 year old that never lived crazy before so is pathetically going through that phase now.

Just got back from class. Ugh. I hate being a TA. I hate rude, inconsiderate students. I don't mind giving advice about their research projects (which are outside the scope of class), but they aren't considerate of my time. They are demanding. Also argumentative. Don't ask for my advice and then tell me everything is working correctly when there is clearly a bug in your code. If it was working fine, you wouldn't be asking for my advice! Listen to me instead of arguing with me and you'll get a lot further.

Okay...think that's the end of my rant for now. I need to eat lunch. It's been like 5 hours since breakfast and I'm super crabby.

Did you tell the student(s) that? I would. No reason they can't hear it. "You want my help? Well, you need it, so you're smart to ask. Now let's get a few things straight..."

I didn't even get the chance.  My adviser is the course director and overheard part of the conversation and said, "Listen to her.  She knows what she's talking about.  If you want her help, don't argue and you'll get a lot more out of it."  Student cut back on the arguing after that, but still...

I just needed to get it off my chest.  I HATE when people do that.

I know!  And it's not the first time someone has gotten all bent out of shape in our thread.  Are we really that bad that we must be contained to TAN and not interact with others outside of it for fear that we may use inappropriate language or hurt someone's ego?

"I'll be back later this afternoon."

Um. Is that for the honeymoon portion?

Did anyone watch House last night? He's an absolute a-hole and I LOVE it. I laughed the whole episode.

I wish it was a show about something else, I'm not a big fan of the "hospital" shows.... but oh well, it's still great.

I TiVo'd it - watching it tonight

LOVE that show too!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

My secretary just said "I need to leave in 15 minutes. I'll be back later this afternoon."

Me: "That's fine."

Her: "I'm getting married quick"

Me:.............................................

Her: "We're just going to the courthouse. It's easy, quick, and cheap."

Me: "Um, congratulations.....?"

This place should be a TV show. I think it would do well.

WTF... Is she related to Pamela Anderson?

Help! I've started TANning at work! All hope of doing "real work" has been eliminated.

OK then. How much longer until I can go home?

Apparently, I've been vanquished.

And I was female.
