I actually didn't. I don't swear much in the presence of others. If I was alone? Oh the f-bomb would have been flying. Considering the evening I had, a tow and a ticket is not so bad. So, not really like a 20 year old at all.... more like a 33 year old that never lived crazy before so is pathetically going through that phase now. |

They are demanding. Also argumentative. Don't ask for my advice and then tell me everything is working correctly when there is clearly a bug in your code. If it was working fine, you wouldn't be asking for my advice! Listen to me instead of arguing with me and you'll get a lot further. Okay...think that's the end of my rant for now. I need to eat lunch. It's been like 5 hours since breakfast and I'm super crabby. Did you tell the student(s) that? I would. No reason they can't hear it. "You want my help? Well, you need it, so you're smart to ask. Now let's get a few things straight..." I didn't even get the chance. My adviser is the course director and overheard part of the conversation and said, "Listen to her. She knows what she's talking about. If you want her help, don't argue and you'll get a lot more out of it." Student cut back on the arguing after that, but still... I just needed to get it off my chest. I HATE when people do that. |
