You can easily handle a sprint. Have no fears and go crush that race and the competition!

Need to find me a t-shirt like that. I got my 2yr old a shirt last year that said future Kona qualifier

We might need a weekly challenge?

Could we, each week, post our training goals in the thread.
Closest to reach goal wins, honor system, tiebreaker = highest % of goal (if two or more are over 100% for the week).

Winner each week gets a big group hug?

I am all for it but we all seem to have gotten astray from the thread.  In fact, Lisa has even joined another Mentor Group.  I don't know why.  I post on here at least every other month.Smile

Hahaha, I am still here!  I still keep track of you guys, but lately I've been sooooo busy.  I haven't worked out in 2 weeks because of a big presentation I had today, but it went well, I'm completely exhausted, and going to bed as soon as I'm done vegging on the couch!  Tomorrow, I will exercise.  My first race is THIS WEEKEND!!!!!

I joined the other group, I didn't think you could only be in one!  As a matter of fact, one of the members  of the new group is a mentor for the January crop of mentor groups.

I think the goal thing sounds great, I have to figure mine out when I'm not so completely tired.

Wow, I feel like the cult leader gone astray. I am such a dissapointment to you all as we have dissbanding from the group. Wink

Actually I have been a huge slacker. Tonight is a new day. We have dinner plans with a huge group of friends and then it is home to hit the scale, start a fresh, and still get in a short ride tonight.

I have just under 6 months til IMAZ and made a rough plan of how to get there in good shape and without this excess baggage around my tummy.

Great Idea. We will start on Monday.

Weeks will run Mon - Sun, post your workouts, and highest % wins!!

If we don't get your workouts in by say Monday night I will hound all of  you to post them til you give me the finger and leave the group cause you think I am a big jerk Wink

Remember this will be everyones best year ever and we are almost half way through so if you have been slacking like I have you still have time to turn it around but tomorrow starts today!

I used to say that my 24th birthday was my "hardest" because if you are not playing major league baseball by that time, you can pretty much count it out (nevermind that I was through anyway).  Well with my ultimate goal of IMAZ in Nov, my "24th birthday" will be here very soon if I don't turn it around quickly.  Here's to all of us getting back on track (not that some like Brian and Chris and probably others are not consistent because it looks like they are).
