Expert 1481 | Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 Part 2 - CLOSED 1:45 on the trainer this morning which is my longest ride since Pumpkinman in September. I averaged 240 watts for the ride. I compared my log to a similar ride a year ago and with the same heart rate I averaged 215 watts. I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do this year with my HIMs after getting a year of that distance under my belt last year. |

So IMTX is full, well general entry wise. Given the delay in opening registration I think it's about the same amount of time as last year. Makes it a little more real for some reason. Also saw Chrissie retired from Ironman racing. Sad but I get it. |

So I take the girls to the doctor's office. We have to get fit in so we get a random doc that I've never seen before. Halfway through the evaluations she looks at me and says "You do tris huh?" No I'm just wearing a shirt that says triathlon in all caps across the front, but "Yeah, love 'em." "Ever done an Ironman?" I figure here we go with the same line of questions people use for small talk right. "No, but I'll do my first in May." "Oh IMTX? My coach does tris, I do marathons. I think y'all are all off your rockers." I LOL'd. |

Master 2151 Johns Creek, Georgia | Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 Part 2 - CLOSED We cancelled satellite a while back, and only watch things on Netflix or Hulu. Currently I'm watching the Lie to Me series, on the last season. Great show. I'm hoping to move onto Shark next, if it's on there. That's another great show. Why do all the good ones get cancelled? Not sure I'd like The Walking Dead. |

The Walking Dead is one of my favorite shows I read the comics, too. I'm catching up on American Horror Story season 2 and Homeland. I am a huge horror fan. I loved vampires and zombies long before they were popular. I can't wait for World War Zombies to be released in the theaters. |

Master 2151 Johns Creek, Georgia | Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 Part 2 - CLOSED So I got an email from the race director for the ultra I'm doing on the 15th. He's posted the race packet, which I read, and now am kind of freaked out. We picked this 50k because my friend researched and said it was flat. The description he has is that yes it's flat, but very challenging. Sounds like we will have to read trail blazes, and watch for roots! I'm not very coordinated when it comes to running trails, I almost always do at least one face plant. So now I've got to not only watch my footing, I've got to look at trees to determine which way to go???? I just hope there are enough people running (and not all fasties) that I can follow somebody. |

I signed Freddy up for 2013 preschool yesterday. I can't believe my last baby will be going to school (even if it is only for a couple hours a day). Last night at Conrad's music performance, Madge leaned over and whispered to me, "mommy, why does it sound so ugly?" LMAO |

It was reccomended from two people here at work. So I gave it a try. After the first episode, I was addicted. Watched the first two seasons on Netflix, and bought the first 7 episodes of season Three on Itunes to get caught up. I can't beleive how addicting it is, and how quickly main characters die off. Apparently there is enough comic book left for at least 7 more seasons, from what I am told. Also karen, tell me about Hulu, how soon are TV episodes put on Hulu. Are they old seasons, or are they available right after they air on regular cable? |

Pro 4723 CyFair | Subject: RE: kaburns1214 Mentor Group 2012 Part 2 - CLOSED Haha. We got Netflix for a while just to catch up on The Walking Dead. We felt left out. Now it's appointment viewing. Kinda irritated with where they left us at the end of Sunday's mid season finale. Hour of intervals on the trainer today and some upper body circuits. Was reading through some more of Ben Greenfield's stuff yesterday. Interesting read. |

I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do this year with my HIMs after getting a year of that distance under my belt last year. Great job, Scott! Did you decide on your races for next year? Sadly no. My wife and mother want to go to Florida in late April or early May and without that booked it's tough. What I'd like to try and pull off is if we go the last week of April which leads into May there's a half at the Space Center in Titusville. I'd have to sell the wife on it as well which is another matter. I had been looking at one May 11th in Virginia but if we go away that will be tough training wise. I could hit the character limit describing all the complications with any of my plans but I'll spare everybody as there's worse problems in life. Thanks for asking. I'll be sure to update everybody once I know the deal. |

The Hulu account is my sons but we use it too. He said some tv shows can be available as quick as the next day, but some may take a week. Depends on the contract I guess. He's got the plus account, so probably quicker than basic. Good question, I'm not clear on the difference between Netflix & Hulu. Also karen, tell me about Hulu, how soon are TV episodes put on Hulu.
