Looks like Im the one pulling the team down.... but dont fear... gimme until Saturday and I should be closer to where i need to be! No ride today due to a work event tonight (anyone wanna go in my place? Watch a football match and drink free beer/eat free food? If you do I can go workout!) |

Master 1289 Franklin, TN | Subject: RE: The Peep Army Close call today! After work, I was on our riding mower with our 6-year old in my lap. We went up a slight, steep hill and we began to spin. I pushed in the clutch to stop the gas and I didn't catch the brake with my right foot, we went backwards, only about 5 feet, hit the bottom of the little hill and the front reared up and we both went off the back of the mower. The motor stopped (when you fall off the seat), we were both on the ground and it rolls on top of us. His arm is between the steering wheel and the ground and the seat has me pinned. I'm yelling for him to get out, I'm thinking of the hot motor, and he cant. Somehow I push the mower up and he scampers out. I don't remember how that happend nor how I worked the thing off of me. Nor how I flipped it back onto its wheels. He has some scratches on his arm but otherwise okay. We started it, it ran, I looked at him, he at me, I got on, he climbed in my lap and off we went and finished the yard. He asked me not to go on the hill again and I said for him not to worry. I had on jeans and a sweatshirt, so I'm not scratched. I imagine I'll be sore for tomorrow morning's swim. |

Elite 3471 Evergreen, CO | Subject: RE: The Peep Army I probably shouldn't tell you this Kevin but it was tshirt/shorts weather in CO today. But don't feel bad -- it's supposed to snow in a couple days I ran today, may ride a bit tomorrow -- just over half an hour to goal -- yay! Definitely riding this weekend - temps in high 60's (what's that in celcius?). And my sister-in-law is visiting this weekend so I may get lots of time on the bike |

I'll be back in a couple hours to let you off. I'm not sure you'd want this rag tag crew... we're pretty random... and often VERY silly. LOL Sound purrfect for me... I get bike time and some entertainment! Im failing to see the down side! |

Master 1289 Franklin, TN | Subject: RE: The Peep Army Little Man and I finished the yard last night. No more hills for us! I push-mowed the hill we wrecked on. He's fine and I'm fine. We are both a little sore this morning. Thanks for the kind words from the Peep Army. The more I thought about it after I finished the yard and was inside for the evening, the "scareder" I got. Got a good, long (for me anyway) swim in this morning. 60's and 70's rest of this week. 72 for race day on Sunday. |
