I date my self when I talk about Olympic coverage. I remember when they would show bits of everything, not just the "popular" sports. And enough with the background info on the athlete. Go read an article if you really want to know. I just like seeing the sport. |

We'd get to see way more if they stopped all the extended bios and life stories. I'm much more interested in watching all the people that compete. |

They should at least show the finals in all the sports. I remember seeing the weight lifting, table tennis and much much more. Now we just see the sports they want us to see and tough luck if you are interested in anything else. But with no cable, I won't be seeing any of the olympics this year. So, i'll stop complaining. |

I don't like the hybrid at all but if I bring it I won't worry about sand and crud in the gears as much since the camping trip is just a few weeks before the oly. I don't think it will damage my training much to ride that heavy beast for a week as opposed to the lighter frame but I really hate that bike. I ould probably have to take the roadie in for a clean up after a week at Assateague with the wind blowing sand into the chain rings. So that would mean doing without it when I get home. I just hate the hybrid is the only reason I don't want to take it. My family will be bringing their hybrids too. |

We send them to a company called Better World Books. They sell the books for us online and we get a percentage back, along with a percentage that goes to library programming. If they are unable to sell the books they then donate them to libraries around the world that are in need of books that service customers in third world countries (usually). |

Did you see that a swimmer has been tossed off the US Olympics team for using Clenbuterol? (I remember the name of the anabolic steroid, but not the swimmer. Um.... Jessica Hardy, I think.) |
