I believe the word is: BOOYAH!

I just solved a problem for my take home.  I have no idea if the answer is right, but my code produces output and the number is reasonable.  At this point, that's all I really need.  Did I mention that it's the last problem that I needed to solve?  Oh, happy day.

Not bad, congratulations.  So what do you do now that you're done with your take home test?

I should have broken the bike out when I got home from work, but a 45 minute ride before it got dark didn't really seem to serve much of a purpose.  I am considering going for a run, but haven't decided yet.

I thought about going for a ride but decided to take a nap instead.  I feel much better now.  I plan on riding the trainer for a bit this evening.

As far as the test, I still have to make a clean copy.  Since it is due electronically I am going to hand write some parts and scan them in.  The rest will be typing and copying and pasting from a few applications.  It's not due until 5pm tomorrow and I don't have any classes on Fridays, so it's not too bad of a deal.  I'm just glad that it's done.

Aikidoman - 2008-10-30 5:15 PM Man, it feels like work should be over, and it's only just past 3...

That definitely sucks, man...

I may try to find a way out early.  But I get to swim tonight!  Short one too, that's a good thing...

It's more entertaining than 3k straight?

by far.  Some speedwork, and some paddle work...  Should be done in 45...  Nice.

Not bad...how are you feeling for your race?  Silverman's coming up pretty quick, right?

meh....  I need to trust the plan.  I pretty much nailed it...

The swim - easy.

The bike, I know I can comfortably survive

The run?  That scares the crap out of me, to be honest.  My longest is 17 miles.  I will be running mostly at night, on tired legs - who knows about hydration and nutrition...  I fear mile 10-20.  It could be a very dark time in my life...

Doesn't sound too bad at all.  Is your weather supposed to be awesome for the weekend out there, too?  The forecasts look so good for us.

I don't have anything encouraging to say as the longest race I've done is an Olympic.  Good luck man, hopefully it goes smoothly.

It should.  Half my nerves are because I'm focused on performance.  If I think about nailing my pace, and a finish time, I get stressed.  If I think that even if things go bad, I should still be able to finish without too much pain, I feel better.

I need to focus on just finishing, not trying to get under 14 hours.  Maybe I should set time goals on the next one I do, if I DO another one.

Oh hai.

Now that I'm going on other threads, it shows that everyone is offline. It does that sometimes. Even says I'm offline now. Weird.

I made beer bread tonight. It is yummy.
