Unfortunately, I am not running today so I have nothing constructive to add.

Hm. Having nothing constructive to add has never stopped me before.

I swam today - I had a bit of a headache and I'm going to replace my helmet ... my 4 week old helmet. *frown*  Darn things aren't cheap!

I'm not running until Wednesday.  But don't worry - I'll get my minutes in!

Hey Stef, you know you're not supposed to wear your helmet while you swim, right? The drag alone will cost you a ton of time!

HI-HO CHEERIO TEAM.

im up early chirping w the birdies.

not sure what the day is gonna hold for me....its a wait see kinda of day.

AND

its the final full day ill have all to myself.

my kids have a 1/2 day tomorrow and then their off of school for the summer.

lots of fun stuff 'on tap' with the kiddos.

i especially cant wait to get out on our boat.  WOO HOO!

the summer is certainly gonna require scheduling finess to get my trng sessions in, unlike now where i basically have the entire day to myself.  (between laundry and cleaning the house and shopping et al.....)

but im also having A TAPER OF A SUMMER, so that should help.

WHAT ARE YOU ALL UP TO TODAY?

HAPPY RUNNING.

Good Morning Teamies!

I'm trying to be organized today - but it's not working terribly well.

I am biking with the group in town tonight.  I'm excited - I haven't ridden with this group yet and I think it will be fun!!

I'm going to run tonight for sure! I just hope the rain stays away so that I can do it outside, as opposed to on the treadmill at the gym. Although if I run indoors, I can watch the Wings win the Stanley Cup as I get my mileage in!

Back at work after the 10 hr drive home from New Hampshire on Monday.  Body is feeling pretty good right now.  But I feel the need for a short, easy run this evening to work some of the kinks out.  I'm pleased w/ how I am recovering from the HIM.  I may not have done the training to go fast but I did enough to finish and in good shape.  :-)

Happy Running!

Got in nearly 5 miles this morning.  Set my alarm to get up a little earlier to beat the heat, but it was still pretty warm.  This is something I am going to have to keep working on.  I'm not a morning person, but I need to find some balance with this.

This is not on topic but since we are padding, anyone know how to remove a race from your "planned races" section?  I was going to do Marine Corps Marathon but it sold out.  I need to get another Mary in in October or November.  Any suggestions?

In your Race Log view, there are two drop down menus at the very bottom underneath the list of races. One is to delete a race (on the left) and the other is to load the distances in your log (on the right). Just choose the race you want to delete from the menu on the left and click the button! I had to delete a race last week after they changed the date at the last minute!!

Helen, of all the people I can think of who need to HTFU, you are not one of them! Take it easy on yourself and then double up next week.
