Last night I was so cold I slept in a thick cotton dress, two thick blankies, all the doors and windows shut and no fan. I bet it was as low as 80. Okay, maybe just 82 or 83.

You just need a pigglet or two (or 3 or 4) under the blankets to keep you warm, sort of the Yanti version of a 3 dog night.

Wait, that is COLD???  Holy jeez, maybe I won't be coming to Indonesia any time soon...  Recently, it's been HOT here in Montreal, and the hottest my room has been is about 85.  And those nights, I can barely sleep!  I much prefer sleeping in the cold!  

Normally I'd offer to warm you up, but at those temperatures, I would be trying to find a way to stop sweating!

I'm already signed up to volunteer at IMFL this year.  I did it 2 yrs ago and was in the Med tent all night.  If there is anything that will dissuade you from doing an Ironman it's working the Med tent.

Right now it's 81F (humidity's probably in the 90percents) and I wish I had a sweater. I have a long cotton dress on, with sleeves, but My hands and feet are really cold.

Ummm ... you are the LAST person who needs to get her life together?!?! Holy carp you know what MY life's like????

Good morning beautiful!

Life is good - I'm on vacation as of 4pm on Friday and don't have to be back at work til August 11th!    The only snags right now is that my knee and I are still fighting (right now the knee is winning, but I'm sure I'll beat it into submission eventually); and that I won't know until XMAS about whether I passed the panel interview or not for air traffic control.  Other than those things, I'm enjoying life right now!

How about you?  How is your toe?  Still rockin' the oh so sexy booty?

oh man had a 2 hour phone call with a woman whose voice makes my ears bleed.  must escape.

Ugh - my 2 hour phone interview was like that - trying to listen to what the questions were without actually hearing the voice was possibly the toughest thing about the whole interview!

My weiner has been moving slow lately since he hurt his neck
But last night he romped around a little and played with his new toy which made me smile.

Yeah his new toy is one of those stuffed dogs from Victoria's Secret - they were giving them away free the other day with some purchase of some sort. I promptly gave it to my dog.

I always give free stuffed toy thingies to my dog.  And he promptly unstuffs them all over my living room!!

He stopped by my house on his way to a work thing. So it was like a 5-minute encounter. He didn't just take 'em and run, he did ask how my ride was Saturday, and how my workouts were Sunday. I asked him about his work stuff... then he said he'd "give me a shout."

Okie dokie?!
