pdbman - 2010-10-13 7:41 PM How is it that I went all this time talking about food without remembering I have goodies in my desk? What's wrong with me?

Are you still at work? What kind of goodies? Laughing

Yep, I'll be wrapping up in a couple of minutes.
I have had a special Times Square Hershey's candy bar, a box of Good & Fiery candy (spicy!), and a bag of gummy penguins.

Yum!

They have gummy penguins?

I want gummy penguins.

I don't keep any candy in the house. Just a frighteningly dwindling and carefully hoarded stash of Pop Tarts.

Y'all are killing me!  Talking about food for two pages and me still waiting for my dinner to cook.  I think I drooled a little on my keyboard.

You always seem to appear when food is the topic...

A coincidence or are we always talking about food?

I can sense the talk of calories.  It's like a spidey sense only better.

Where do your favorite calories come from?

Ben and Jerry are my BFFs.

I also love pizza, peanut butter, bacon, chocolate, beer, black beans and rice, burritos, chips and salsa, cheesburgers, lasagna....

Ben and Jerry is icecream right?

Pizza is my bestie.

I have a cokeacola problem.

Gummy penguins don't taste as good as gummy bears but they're funner to eat because their bellies are filled with liquid and they're fun to play with. (Don't tell my mom that I'm still playing with my food.)

Mmmm...curry makes me happy.  I'm always on the lookout for a good curry recipe.  And grits!  I can't believe I was hanging out down south last week and managed not to eat any grits.  I must have been too busy drinking margaritas.

For all you Ben & Jerry fans that are also environmentalists, I read an interesting article once. Ben & Jerry are environmental guys. The worked with a university to create an ice cream maker that does not use any type of refrigerant. Instead it uses sound. here is a link to an NPR article that talks about it briefly http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=1861434 but you can do a search and find all kinds of articles talking about it.
