just registered for classes for the last time  Can't believe I only have a semester left.  I'm taking a class on athletic injuries which should be fun and helpful when it comes to triathlons... also I'm taking rock climbing with my bf which I am really excited about.  Off to at least get some strength training in and a run if the rain holds off.

QueenZipp - 2010-11-05 12:10 PM Hey there, Crushers...got a good strength set in today.

I am sooooo  looking forward to riding tomorrow  Cool  (even if it will be chilly out there!)

How far are you riding tomorrow?

I am allowed 45 minutes and it has to be SLOW and FLAT.  Probably doing an easy ride near the middle school a couple streets over.

You are welcome to join me if you want......Not sure what time I'm getting the ride in though.

Oh yes, and you can get awesome, forever-lasting custom leather boots made here (all included) for about $60.

So, my test is done and I had a whole afternoon of catching up on my goals for you Crushers!  I biked 10 miles, ran 2, did some ST and attempted to jump rope.  I think I need lessons...  Embarassed  But my numbers are looking much better!

Now I have to run off to pick up the kiddos and maybe a new washing machine.  Hopefully a haircut first...

I totally forgot you had that today. How do you think you did? I'm sure you aced it.

TriAya - 2010-11-05 1:42 PM My cats, like the dog, love to lick faces. What is WRONG with them? Is this something they get from the dog? Or is this normal cat behavior?

They are very licky, in general. Ewww.

That is normal behavior for some cats.  Grey cat loves to lick my face when I come home.

Copy loves to try and give me a "bath" , her tongue is really prickly....I don't like her baths.

TriAya - 2010-11-04 11:21 PM You people are high-larious. Yes, Melissa, pears in a can.

Half a worm. Heh.

So Phil are you on the spreadsheet yet? I just woke up.

I love pears in a can! I think this is the only real food that I prefer processed. I like the texture of the stringy membranes and the soft flesh. Fresh pears are too hard.

I prefer pears in my stomach. And I won't eat pears when they are hard. I let them sit around until they are fully ripe and sufficiently soft.

I love my wife. I think pears are pretty dang tasty but she doesn't. And yet she still buys a case of pears every year and we bottle them. I prefer the home done pears. We can control the sugar. I think they taste better with less sugar and light syrup compared to what is in the store. Plus none of that chemical that they coat the cans with that they have found causes cancer.

recipe please

Peal and cut pears in half. We put them in some water with a little salt or citric acid so they don't go brown while they wait. then we fill the bottle and add 1/4 cup of sugar and fill with water. Put in canning pot and bring to boil. Let boil for 20 minutes and they're done.

Mine sucks on my hair during the night if I take a shower before bed.  As much as I dislike his bathing me, it's not quite as weird as the hair sucking.

eh, it wasn't quite as good as I had hoped.  But I'm just happy that results don't come back till Jan and I can enjoy "normal" life, kids birthdays, and the holidays for a couple months!

OK, I'm apparently the only one around tonight...  and not that I can blame y'all on a Friday night!  I'm off to enjoy my martini while I clean up from the kids dinner and wait for my hubby to come home with a new washing machine.  Not exactly the Friday night I had hope for...  but I'm waiting to have a good dinner later with him so things could always improve!

Duane - I think through time it could happen for you.  I've waited for years.  I think something finally just hit her - possibly stress at work.  I have brought it up at times, and she mentioned in the past few months that she would like to try, as long as I don't harp on her or pressure her, etc. since I'm the competitive one.

Good night and congrats on the wife run along.

I'll ride bikes with mine some times though she get knocked off the road yesterday and smacked her face so she's swearing off the bike for now.

I've paced her in a few 5k's before but we never run/train together as someone has to watch the 6 year old.

I love running with my bf.  My parents just recently starting running and working out together.  My dad was never one to even walk with my mom and now 4-5 times a week they go for a run together

Just got in from my first run with Nike+.  Calibrated it but it was only about .1 mile off which isn't bad.  So now if I did everything right my next run should be accurate.  My run this morning could almost count towards the crappy winter weather challenge...37 degrees out!!
