TAN MINI POLL

Colo(u)r of your undies right now:  Incredible Hulk underoo type.
Best smex of your life, one detail:  She taunted me with my boast that if given carte blanche, a girl would be limping afterwards...  after 6 timesin about 4-5 hours, whe wasn't limping.  She was resiliant.
Last outgoing text on your phone:  Too long to mention.  A TM to my cousin who is in town to meet up for drinks.
Your workout today:  30 min ez swim
Your dinner tonight:  Basalmic glazed salmon over cous cous, green beans, key lime pie for desert.

You truly are a Rock Star.  And I am not referring to your limping tirade!  Who eats like that during the week?

Jim definitely wins in the dinner department. I think Mon wins in the sexeh story department. Those things are bolted on there pretty good!

I'm sort of a chef, and I also have the time.  Cooking well takes no longer than cooking crap, in general.

I strongly suggest putting the language bar in your task bar. It helps a LOT when you have that problem, or have to switch between languages

Oh, and if you don't want to change it, the apostrophe is probably "shift+,"... just so you know. That's at least what it is over here!

Depends on the hotel.  I have been in some pretty crappy ones with rickety old beds... although that almost makes the story better!

I stayed at an Extended Inn in Raleigh, NC, as well as a Howard Johnson's in the Poconos. When I showered in the morning, the dirt washed off of my feet from walking barefoot in the room. Yuck...

All I'm going to say is that it was a place where you wouldn't have expected the headboard to be able to be ripped off the wall.  I guess I can be stronger than I realize... Innocent

LockOut - 2011-11-16 12:44 PM I just got an email about the Tough Mudder coming to Toronto... I'm so tempted, but it's less than a month before my HIM next year... I don't know if doing a race like that would be a great idea.

DO it!  A bunch of us are dong the Warrior Dash in April for fun!  I can't wait

A Tough Mudder is a different ballgame, though. Some of the obstacles look REALLY hard, and I don't know if I'd physically be able to do them. Things like climbing 12 foot walls... Other than that, I'm sure it's all possible, but really, really hard. Crawling under wire at 8" off the ground... I'm pretty sure my body is more than 8" tall laying down.

OH boo frekin HOO.  Get your snivelling sorry crybaby don't want to get dirty and test my mental and physical bounaries down in the dirt and run.  Its not like they dump 20,000 hungry leaches in the water. (there is an idea)   You should do it,

We can always count on you for telling it like it is That might have been just the push I needed.

That and I just saw the twin cities event in May.  I want to put it in the schedule but need to wait a bit to see if keepers have other plans for me such as deployment or training in Alabama

Aaaah - not a bad idea!  It certainly can get frustrating when typing up a document and all of a sudden you're typing in Armenian or something.

Nope. Don't see my boss more than once a year, so no chance.

Oh boy, my friends just opened up a can of worms.

So me and a group of friends send emails back and forth to pass the days. Me and one other in the group have taken up endurance training. One other friend says that he doesn't like the endurance thing because it's so positive and rah rah rah, there's not enough trash talking within the group about it. My response was that most of the dudes were too big of p*$$**s to try it, so we can't really trash talk. The answers that came back were:

  • Running is for people who are brutal at "real sports", or who can't afford them.
  • "If only you "manly men" had played football or rugby in high school, you could have started out in shape and just stayed there, so you wouldn't have to do all this ridiculous exercise later on in life."

This could be a long night...

just for fun how about these replies...

1.  Define real sport, if you mean team sports then explain how your lack of contribution supports the overall effort.  With running it is all me, I own my success and failure.  In real sports it is too easy to play the blame game.

2. Ahh the glory of High School sports.  If only I could motivate myself to sit at a bar remembering that game winning touchdown or goal to anyone who would listen.  I am so happy that the metabolism of my youth has stayed with me so I don't have to drink light beer.  Alas I don't have the time or the motivation, guess I will just have to stimulate my mind by thinking about my future while I run a few miles to improve upon my youthful physique.

I assume he is talking about football???  Well tell him that in endurance sports, you don;t have an offensive team, a defensive team, a kicking team, a kick off team, a third down team, a punt team, a punt return team, a pass defense team, a run defense team, a field goal team, etc...

We do it all!
