I love cooking for myself... but I always end up cooking 4-6 servings at once... and eating the same food for DAYS as a result...

I did that a few weeks ago when I made paella. I think I ate it for lunch and dinner... 4 days in a row? It was delicious, but it was WAY too much.

I probably have like 2 different meals / week, on average, because I'm too lazy to cook indivudial meals...

Yanti, that's definitely better than being repulsed by the thought of food!

BTW, I think we're all proud of you for deciding to NOT go out after feeling "better" for 3 hours...

Man. That actually brought tears to my eyes. I'm an effen sop, what can I say. But look, it's easy for me to go and tough out a very long shyty race ... but doing NOTHING has taken 35 years to really try to get a hold of.

Heh. Thanks, love. {MELON PRESS}

I've got something you can get a hold of in less than 35 years...

Such a liar. You're clearly taken. Although maybe you're only planning on 34 years, who knows.

I actually prefer diet sodas. Except for the CocaCola hangover treatment, I always drink diet.

BTW: Coke is the best treatment for a hangover. Caffeine, sugar, bubbles and hydration.

Hey TAN... what's up? My morning with the father in law. He is SO antisocial, when I surprised him in the kitchen and tried to talk to him, he pretty much walked away mid sentence. So I headed out to get groceries. When I got back, I found him downstairs again and he just watched me make several trips to the car. Never offered to help. Then he just went off to his room again. I expect he will be back down at meal times to get fed. That's the routine. But of COURSE when he hears the garage door open, he run's downstairs to meet Tala at the door so I can't get any alone time myself. Two months and running...

Is he that way with everyone except his immediate family? I thought he had been a pastor as well ...

And to think, he was a pastor and teacher. You would think that would make someone a little more social. Unless it's me. I'm a little shy, but I'm also reasonably likable, I think.

Much better, but acting wisely (for once in my entire life) so as to not overdo it, rush things, and ruin everything.

I could visit and annoy him so much he leaves?

OH maah.

Just got an email from my girlfriend who works for Garmin. The one whose job description includes traveling with Team Garmin all over the world, including the Tour de France every year and KONA this last year. Helloooo my friend.

She is planning a girls' trip to Paris and London - starting with the final stage of the Tour.

Where is my credit card??!

I don't. I haven't. It makes for terrific stories and horrific recoveries.

What should I have for lunch? I had a mocha for breakfast... Maybe some leftovers or perhaps a couple soft boiled eggs and toast? Those are typically the hardest decisions I have to make during the day the last couple weeks. That, and if I should watch tv or play PS3 and/or which game to play. Someone put me out off my misery.

Eggs and toast is good comfort food. Do you have any veggies or fruit or juice?

You HAVE to do it. Seriously. When I walked the Champs in Oct. all I could think of was seeing the tour on that very street. Oh, and consider me super jealous of your friend.

OJ. No veg unless I cook some up. Hand a handful of berries (black and rasp) earlier.
