Speedo Vanquisher as well.  Cindy bought me $30 OW goggles for Xmas.  They suck.

I tried the Speedo Vanquisher because lots of people have recommended them, but they were horrible for me.  I use Aqua Sphere Kaiman and really like them.  My eyes are set kind of apart, and these work really well.  They have several tints and colors.

Scott (everlong) - Feel better!  Don't push it too soon.

Jeff (rizer) - I hear you with the HR training.  It's so frustrating to go so slow when you know you have more in you.  I get worried that my body won't remember how to run fast when it's time!!!  Like you blogged, it will help in the long run, and that's what we have to keep in mind.

Scott (uhcoog) - Nice TT time!!!!!

Carrie - Good luck tomorrow!

Steve - I wear Zoggs Predator Flex.  They're harder to find in stores, so I order them online.  They are the bomb!

I use the Kayenne by Aqua Sphere. I've been using the same pair now for over a year with no leaking issues. The speedo's just didn't hold up like that.

2 hours on the trainer this morning. I really want to get out on the roads, but it's 30s and raining here.  Maybe next weekend!  Felt strong the entire 2 hours.

Have a great weekend!

The weather is so funky everywhere. Mid 70's today and tomorrow, 87 Monday. Yes 87. It's freaking April. No complaints here. But what is summer going to bring us. Houston weather???? Keep it there Scott.

Cool and windy here today, might hit mid-50's but the wind is blowing 20's-near 40. Doubt I'll get outside on the bike. Hitting the gym a little later for a swim, then either ride a bike there or come home and set up the trainer.

I'm waiting for it to get warm enough to do my first long ride outside since October.  Should be interesting.

I just finished up a 4 hour outdoor ride - and it was absolutely beautiful!!!  A little cold at 7am start (mid 50's) but was 70 at the end.  If only it would stay this cool.

We saw goats!!!  I love goats!

Mid 70s here.  Wind in the 20mph range.  Should be a ton of fun for my boys out on the IMTX course.

Went for a fit on the Orbea last night.  I hope Tad puts up before and after photos.  It's a drastic change.  Slammed the stem, new stem, new shoe insoles, new cleat position, moved my pads, raised my seat.  I'm super excited for tomorrow's 2 hour ride/25 min trun.

Great race today everyone.  Thanks for all the luck.  Kelly told me to go out and do 10:20's, about a 1:05 race, I did about 9:57's, for 1:03 ...... a PR of 8:52

I still don't get how coaches know what you are capable of, not exactly I guess, because as I told Kelly, I am completely stunned!  She knows what to expect, but I am constantly surprising myself.  For me its a good thing, then I am super excited when I PR.

Enjoy the long ride outside.  I'm jealous!!!!!

I just can't do outside in the 30s.  FREEZING!!  I'm starting to get concerned about lack of road time.......worried about getting my rear handed to me on the bike at my olympic tri in June.

Congrats to both Carrie and Kelly! Great work ladies!

Got my swim in and half my bike at the gym (I can't stand the stationary bikes there). Wind got stupid here; can't see the mountain, dust storms everywhere, and I taste dirt. Gotta love spring time in the desert

Congrats again Kelly.  But did you even mention in your application the saran wrap photo? I am certain that wouldn't disqualify you, but rather bump you right to level two.  Although, under the name Kelly Burns, arent' you banned from some Peachtree race in Atlanta??? That could be reason for removal of the certificate.  Kidding!!

Congrats, well deserved.
