Whoever is having a/c troubles, that sucks.
Last summer mine went out the week before I left for my Ironman. It was over 100 degrees for like 40 days straight. I had to stay at my parents for a few days, and when I dropped by to pick up some stuff it was something like 93 or 94 degrees in the house. Brutal.

Then a tree split and fell on my house a few days later.

That was an expensive summer.

In other words, you were having one of those weeks...

OK you know I have never seen any of those shows save spongebob cause my son used to like it.

Those and American Horror Story are the only cable shows I like, so I am beginning to think about shutting the tv off completely.  I end up taping them, so I can just watch them later online.

I only care about the Big Bang Theory, so I can catch that on CBS through the antenna!

Oh Big Bang Theory I've seen.  I watched a few shows then got tired of it and went back outside to read.

You lasted that long?  I sat and stared at if for 10 mintutes in shock about  how anyone could find it funny.  The poor timing and laugh track...  ick.

However, I was scraping the bottom of the barrel in terms of passtimes when I was out of work and watch a few more episodes.  I GUESS I can see the appeal to some.

I like to give things a chance from time to time plus I really just wanted some mindless entertainment.

The guy who won an emmy for it (I think) - the Uber nerd who is snobby (don't know the names).  He does ok and his character is pretty funny.

I might have caught a bad episode for my first experience.  The above mentioned character was sick with the flu and his fake conjested voice and how he faked his mom's voice - just terrible writing and acting and blah...  Must have been a bad first impression.

Yup, I was trying to get ready for an Ironman on top of all of that!
I distinctly remember that night I stopped by the house - to collect my bike and bike trainer, clothes and toiletries for 2-3 days of work and workouts, etc. and haul it all to my parents house. Such a pain. So grateful I had that option though.

OH just looked, all that a/c crap happened 3 weeks before the Ironman - but I was traveling to Louisville for a practice weekend.

The week before my Ironman, my boyfriend broke up with me. And the tree fell on my house. Heh.

I wonder if I didn't have my amazing wife or good friends/family, what would have happened.

A win for all single men out there, a huge FAIL to the sorry excuse for a male that you call your ex-boyfriend, and further proof that, as Kate so eloquently says, (some) men are stupid.
